I think you'll find the players will appeal and the sanctions will be greatly reduced , BC will have to get outraged again lol.

It's got nothing to do with ball tampering but everything to do with the level of punishment handed out even for fairly minor infractions such as a $15 bet on a game the culprit wasn't even remotely involved in....so by extension ball tampering with sandpaper should attract an even greater penalty than the one received by the women's BBL player. I'm not outraged about anything and good luck to them if they do get it reduced...I just find the penalty to be appropriate given analogous situations.

Gee the Marsh brothers both out in the first over, this test has been a complete shambles. Funny how things can turn pear shaped so quickly. Remember 4 weeks ago Australia were 1- 0 up in this series after winning the ashes 4- 0.

Could this be a player revolution against CA? Could the rest of the team be sending a message to management?

LOL... not sure if any amount of hard man personna was going to change that result BH and Tim Em..

Come end of the day the poor wee lads are emotionally and physically drained after all thats happened over these past days, weeks and apparently month....nothing worse than a bunch of softies trying to act like hard boys tho BH.....just not good enough and TBH a few in that team who found it all a bit tiring will never wear the baggy green again. ..lots of folk doing it a lot harder in life than these over paid over pampered prima donas......can't wait to see who gets picked for the UAE tour

Lessen the suspension to what Anchor....are we talking reducing it by months or matches?....Aust don't play for 6 months.....so a 6 month suspension means they miss nothing.....a suspension of 2 -3 matches means they will miss the UAE tour and be back for the India series in Aust.....be interesting to see what happens then....
