Sugar in Bancroft's pocket... unusual amount of tape on Warner's fingers, suspicion by the jappies, poms and kiwis on some of the stuff Warner was doing.... its not absolute proof but as I say an indication.

I also think we're not getting everything that was found out during the investigation which means there could be a whole lot of other stuff that went on not only in this series but the Ashes and beyond. Other players in the squad could have recounted other incidents which were tantamount to cheating that we're not privy to...who knows?

What are the INDICATIONS that they have doctored the ball previously!!!!

The vibe.

I thought it was wrong to parade Smith in front of the media vultures straight after his return. The guy has been humiliated enough. Why ask him to make that statement when he was obviously a broken and shattered man. Cricket Australia owe him a duty of care for his mental well being which is inconsistent with what they forced him to do here. Same with Bancroft. They should have been given the benefit of having at least the Easter break with their families and then front up next week, like what Warner has obviously been given the option of doing. This has been a total over the top reaction to an incident while very serious is not going to lead to the end of the world as we know it. I guess CA are pissed off that they have lost their sponsorships as a result of this and they are going to punish the players in any way that they can.
As for Lehmann, I think he must have come to the conclusion hisposition was untenable and has made the inevitable decision.
As the whole series has been, the cricket itself will once again be the sideshow and Australia will struggle to take the game past 3 days given the events of the last week.

mate he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. There'd be all sorts of commentators who'd rip into him for not making a statement so for mine better he gets it out of the way and we all move on.

And I wonder if Lehmann stepped down voluntarily or got the shove?
It was only a couple of days ago that he "wasn't going anywhere and was staying on as the head coach".
Apparently resigning after the next test match concludes.
With a new coach being appointed soon, hopefully the team can put the sand-gate behind and move on.
Justin Langer's name has been mentioned. Would he want the job? Would be a good choice I suppose.
