Not saying Smith would but you're dismissing the point I'm making people have done themselves in over the same stuff that's happening to him right now on social media , plenty of famous people have committed suicide over social media , and you diagnosing them with guilt and remorse is laughable you wouldn't know how the fuck they are dealing with it.

PN of course that is a possibility but the bottom line is that there didn't seem to be any consideration and continues to be the case about the impact the use of sandpaper on the ball on C Bancroft's career.

As I have said, and with very little if any support, the behaviour of the Australian cricket team has been appalling over a very long period of time. One can only hope that this episode will serve as a catalyst for significant change in behaviour of the Australian cricket team.

I and the majority of Australians don’t want our team turned into the bunch of soft cks that you want swan. We want them to play hard, play mean, but play inside the rules.

No I want them to behave like decent human beings. Perhaps you need to check out what D Lehmann has said recently.

For mine, Bancroft 6 months, Smith 9 months and never allowed to captain again because he obviously hasn’t the wherewithal to deal with the Warner’s of the world. As for Warner, bye bye Davy, you’ve had too many chances.

And of the two if they were the penalties who would play for Australia again and who wouldn't?

how do you figure that PN?...they've been suspended from playing cricket ffs because they went way outside the rules. it's a game and that's all. and let's not forget they lied when they were sprung and indications are it's not the first time they had a go at doctoring the pill. I also think we're not getting everything that was found out during the investigation which means there could be a whole lot of other stuff that went on not only in this series but the Ashes and beyond. Other players in the squad could have recounted other incidents which were tantamount to cheating that we're not privy to...who knows?

Penalties aside...Smith, Bancroft and Lehmann all teary eyed and saying how sorry they are...I wonder if any of them would be doing the same if they hadn't got caught? would any have fessed up and said they've done the wrong thing and want to make it right? I doubt it....they're only sorry because they got caught through their own stupidity and arrogance and not because of what they've done.
