Good luck to Alby. I always thought he was a wholehearted player however he always seemed to be the first one dropped after a loss, perhaps unfairly at times. A good in and under player and tagger whose disposal was on some occasions a little off . I'm glad he has gone to East Perth as we have taken quite a few more of their players over the past 3 - 4 years so we owe them a few without doubt. Happy for these guys to seek out opportunities at other clubs as long as its not Subiaco!

Gee Barnard had a few bizarre things to say about SD in a radio interview the other week after Waite had left something about "thats just what SD do" and yet overlooked the fact EP have recruited SD boys Fullgrabbe (swapped for Waite), Pescud & Dean this summer alone.
Mike the only reason some of those fringe EP boys moved to their near neighbour SD (Slater, Wityk, Freddie, Payne) was because they were aligned to the Eagles (for the 2nd time) and werent getting an opportunity there, otherwise I have no doubt they would still be there.

Good luck to Alby at East Perth. Will be interesting to see where he plays at the Royals.
Alby likes to run forward of the play. And can leave his forward opponent unmarked.Probably the type of player EP are looking for in 2020.

beasly you should be embarrassed with your comment about the four players who left because of the alignment.to say that they would be at east perth is disingenuous.of the four only Stephen payne is playing wafl this year.freddie has retired and was battling to get a league game in his last two year 9 games and 6 games).steve wityk played 9 league games between 2015-2017 for swannies.jackson slater played 29 games for swans in 4 seasons between 2015-2018.you can't blame them for exploring their opportunities at swans but history will show that they got games at a struggling club.a few others just played reserves for swans.as for this year it seems three east perth boys at swans and three at east perth.it will be interesting to see if any have a impact this year.

Barnard is on another planet, they got 3 blokes from Swans this year and good luck to them
The kid Waite has played 7 league games and 40 odd reserves games, hardly taken a gun player.
And they picked up Robertson as well, not sure what they are crying about

How are you Gtrxuone i would suggest that Alby would have alter his playing style if he wants a regular league game because if its one thing that Barney hates is one way runners.

Robertson is a WP player which last time I checked is not an EP junior club.
Having a cry about losing a bloke who played 7 league games whilst recruiting blokes from other clubs is hypocritical
None of the 3 swans blokes who have gone to EP were able to play regular senior footy so good luck to them, don’t see swans having a cry over it

Why would I be embarrassed Chaddy?
My club hasnt aligned with the Eagles once let alone twice!
As for those 4 boys named before I doubt very much they would have ever left EP if they had not sold themselves out for Alignment MkII.
