This is the weakest Peel have been for a long time, Swans by 40 points.

A mix of experience and youth coming into the Swans team tonight with Riggio and Ellis named as well as young Sam Taylor who will make his debut. Unfortunately Tallen Ames is not playing so someone else will have to try and blanket Taberner who must be in Ross Lyons bad books at the moment. Looks a decent Swans team on paper and to make things a little more promising I can only count 6 Dockers in the Peel team at this stage, although this may increase depending on how many of the emergencies they take to Sydney. Still going to be less than what Subi had to face last week.
There are 3 Bennells playing in the game and its a distinct possibility that Jamie might line up on Harley at some stage of the afternoon. Gault should have a good battle with Griffin and the midfields look pretty even with Riggio back.
The other factor will be the weather which is forecast to be dirty on Saturday afternoon so it may be a bit of a muddy slog with 10 goals enough to win the match. It is imperative that Swans are ready to play from the first bounce and if we can get a few goals in front in the first quarter this will be invaluable on a wet day.
This match is a pivotal one. A win would just about wrap up our place in the top 5. A loss will make us vulnerable, particularly with an away match against Subiaco coming up next week.

well done SD. Part of my prediction has come through at least. Perth or EF need to beat them to keep them out of the finals.

Well done SD...hopefully this puts a few folks alignment unfairness argument to bed...so how did SD semi professionals get over the full time professionals superior fitness in the last stanza?....

What a beautiful result.
Well done Swans.
They needed to win today after sitting out the bye last week.
Hopefully Claremont can complete the double?

Hey DW Sam Taylor no 53.Took two really strong overhead marks in the 3rd qtr.Left fwd flank kicking to the Perth end.Wet footy. One against Griffin who worked his backside off for Peel like D Pearce did.Swans had to much class for Peel after half time.
Freeze all over Peel after half time.Riggs back and allways hits his targets.Peel bombed the ball long into fwd line.Easy for Swans defence.

How sweet was that..... At the 10 minute mark of the 3rd quarter we were staring down the barrel. At that stage Peel were 6 - 4 - 40 and Swans 3 -1- 19. From that point on Swans kicked 8-5 to the opposition 2-4. An outstanding effort by every player who pulled on the Black and white jumper today. The last 15 minutes of the 3rd quarter when we were kicking into a slight breeze was crucial. A couple of bits of magic from Tarcye Stewart and Ricky Cary got Swans back into it and then in the last quarter, our mids got on top and Cary, Jamie Bennell Noble,Stewart, Crowley and Ellis provided a good contest up forward. Our defence was tight all day once again led by Kirk Ugle who consistently punches above his weight and several times I saw him battling against 2 opponents and often winning. Riggio came in and played as if he hadn't missed any games and made up for the absence of Ellard.
Well done to the guys and we are now 3 games inside the top 5 with 4 games to go. Finals football is very close now.
Young Taylor looked the part when he got the ball and Taryce Stewart played his best game for a few months, he is definitely an X factor type footballer who AFL clubs would be attracted to.
Great to see the colts and ressies win too. Freddie looked like he had a good day in his comeback.
