Fair comments by all here including Leedy. Yarran may need to take some time away from footy but will be most welcome at the club if he feels it's in his best interests to play footy. Is a decent fella and we all should wish him well whilst hoping he is not lost to footy...simple as that. If Newman wants to play with us again then I'm with Swandog on this one, give him the chance but first things first, prove to his team mates he is there to put in 100%...anything less then better he go play at Wongan for the moolah. Half arsed effort can no longer be tolerated at our club no matter who the player. Will be very interesting to see how Harding handles a few very delicate situations over the next few months. There can be no excuses in 2017.

Mate....there are always excuses for you SD fella's.......the umps....team too young.....Subi having too much money......Peel and EP having too many professional footballers...... .and ever since the 30 second mark of that opening term v EF this year.....injuries.....what ever next?..........touch wood things get better for next year

Not quite in the Brabazon family league for excuses Frosty ...and we havent had 20 seasons full of them either (Tyler not getting a game, failure to recruit a key forward, kept Dunbar & Stavros on too long, blah blah blah...) like some from over the ditch way!

Stavros will do well with your mids DW....like he did with that gun EF midfield of a few years back....reckon if Judgey was alive, he would be saying SD midfield of Crowley, Ellis, Riggio, Pearce et al will be the best in the land outside the AFL next year....like McGough, Dalziel,ROB etc they all have a mature body and run at a snails pace....just like Stavros did in his playing days....

yep true BH...I guess winning one flag in 20 odd years is far better than winning none....oh well.... thems the breaks for trying to win a flag honestly then some what tainted I guess..... ...some thing you guys do bang on about a bit tooooo much to the Subi boys about having an even playing field and all that
