Coming in are Ellard, Pearce, Bennell, Gault, Crowley, Ellis, Houghton, Ridley, Manton, Noble and possibly Yarran. I notice that Murray Newman is also on the Senior list, does anyone know if he is training? Have I missed anybody?
Also are there any losses from last season I wonder apart from Simmo?. Someone mentioned that Ansey may have been looking elsewhere.

I believe Jetts & Jukes have also left as well Mike.

Charlie Cameron's younger brother is down at the club....lightly built and still only a young fella with a good head on his shoulders from all reports...will be well received by our members if the instant cult figure status we gave Charlie is anything to go by

Will both be fighting hard for their spots in the side...a couple of seasons back felt both were not in Gregs good books but glad to see them back at the club because both players can play a role...Joel's ability and knack to find a goal 2 years back was the difference between winning and losing a couple of games...happy to see him back and looking forward to see if Jesse has some good footy in him

DW,

If I was Harding,I would be swiftly telling Yarran and Newman that they are not required. The recruiting done will be worth a pinch of shit if both those blokes were around.

why would we not want Yarran around ? he has never done anything wrong by the club ?
if he trains and wants to play with his mates he would be most welcome.

the other bloke needs to grow up and show some maturity, thats up to Harding, Smart and the senior players to assess and for Harding to keep his trap shut.

at least we will have some competition for spots this year so blokes that don't wont to commit can go elsewhere.

No probs there Southy...no ties with Soufs...the only hint I'm gonna give is I'm amazed Subi didn't get him

Surely not Morabito?

Rumour file 3 weeks ago. SD in talks with Morabito. Surprised by the lack of comment at the time.

Honestly heard nothing re Morabito...I'd imagine we couldn't afford him....but I'd gladly cook the books Subi style to get him...super cheap house and land packages anyone???

Sorry am I just reading a Swans supporter accusing another club of cooking the books and offering incentives???? Short memory there DW. I think 4 clubs have been done for salary cap breaches and Subi aint one of them. Best look at your own club on that account.

You could take it as another aggressive poke from a SD supporter again SS or you could also see my post from the perspective of " I don't really know how Subi get it done but they always manage to fit them in so let's learn how they do it"...we need to learn how Subi do it because they are doing it better than anyone else in the WAFL right now and as such are having a period of sustained success, something every club should be aspiring to. My comment " cooking the books Subi style" in reality is actually a compliment if indeed nothing against the rules has happened at your club and should be read in to as such. I wanna see my club winning alongside developing a sustainable winning culture off the field which Subi has done very well in recent times ensuring good players will always wanna come and play at the club...money should and can not be the only way to attract quality players the likes of Morabito to our club. As Subi have proved there is more than one way to skin a cat in getting quality players to one's club.

Nice clarification DW, I'll take it as read.

Yarren is ok, but Newman would need to start in ressies for at least a month and perform to get a look in, but with his history is he worth it?

agreed Swandog, be interesting to see the way Harding handles his possible return after shooting himself in the foot with his comments before the 2016 season.

I like to think that we're still a community based club and that we'd embrace our local kids, even if they've been a bit stray.

If he (Newman) can make amends, and he needs to, then hats off to him
