On this day nearly 30 years ago, Perth kicked 21- 18 - 144 to beat Swans 15 - 15 - 105 in front of 10,218 people. Must have been a great day. Unfortunately those sorts of crowds will never be seen at WAFL games again.

It would be nice to get the Foundation Day Monday game every year at home like certain other clubs do to boost their overall numbers.
I was at the EF v SF Derby a couple of Sundays ago and there would have been barely 1000 there for the League game so much for being the premier WAFL H&A game!

Senior and I were at that prelim final in 2010, great atmosphere and enjoyed cheering against the ferals.

I took a few photos that day. Heres one of Ashley Hansen kicking for goals which gives you an idea of the crowd in the outer. That was a fantastic day for WAFL footy

And not long after this the WAFC go and destroy all that momentum the competition was rebuilding with a bloody compromised alignment based competition!
