Lol why would Cody want to go to that shithole? We’ve got the best oval in the country and have brand new facilities within the next couple of years and one of the more financially sound clubs without the assistance of going into an alignment.

Maybe that’s one of the reasons your club has sucked over the last 5 or so years pre occupied with stealing one of the best young players from a club that’s struggled for the last 40 years. Still butt hurt over losing Tropiano? Players that can’t crack a regular league game are fair targets. Get over it. I’d be absolutely stunned if Cody Legget left us for your club or any club for that matter. Seems like a pretty happy and popular player at the Perth footy club. And why then did an Attadale boy become a Perth player in the first place? Didn’t you rate him when he was a junior?

On the topic of 'butt hurt' which you have raised - does being 'butt hurt' for 40 years (as opposed to having sucked for 5) mean that it starts to hurt less and you get a bit more used to it? (as Perth have endured 40 years of 'butt hurt')

You better start preparing yourself, DD.

Everyone is fair game. We’ve lost our share over the years (Marsh, Tropiano, Menegola, Duffy, Palmer to name a few recent ones) but we move on. Certainly don’t hold grudges. Leggett might have a valid reason for the move. Players move all the time- what makes Perth exempt??

Sure East Freo have sucked for a number of years but have Perth been any better? 2 wooden spoons in the last 5 years and no higher finish than 6th in that time. Sounds like some one suffers delusions of grandeur.

More than happy to flick Masten over for Leggett and Tropiano....Perth would be crying out for someone with over 200 games of AFL experience.... especially since Jones has gone....

DD bit harsh there mate on that 5 year assessment on EF success....or lack of it....Trops left because he couldn't get a game in a strong EF team that finished 2nd in 2012, 2nd in the Foxtel comp in 2013 and 3rd in 2014....good on the guy for winning the Sandover...good to see him back in the WAFL regardless if its Perth or EF or who ever....but perhaps with a change of coach at EF compared to Perth, may sway both boys to seek a change of coach for a change in playing success....Trops won a flag at NA under a new coach in Carr....Who knows??

IMO Masten unlikely to return to WAFL. Almost certain to be re-injected into AFL.

As for Leggett and Troppo. It is all semantics by you EF boys. Who have you been listening to? Surely not Haggers?? You know how often his predictions become reality.
PFC have no hold on Troppo. He can choose where he goes. As for Cody Leggett, he is a Perth player, under contract I believe. Don't start thinking that PFC is not leaving any stone unturned to ensure both players are in red and black next season.

Smokester interesting you say Perth "have no hold" on Tropiano?...yet he is on the Perth playing list!...no one is "creaming their jeans" at EF..tho in all honesty, if Monaghan hasn't got the club playing finals at least, after the length of time Spalding has been at Perth, then pretty sure Monaghan won't be EF coach.....how long has Spalding been coach of Perth...

Troppo is indeed on our list but only gone on in last day or so.
Perhaps he has already signed on...because my understanding he is a North Adelaide player.
Unless there is a rule that if he returns to the WAFL he is our player.

I’d say it must be similar to a delisted AFL player- who automatically returns to the team he’s from when the re-enter WA.
