Early start, but good to see Joyce, Dixon and Strnadica back on EF playing list....only a routine admin  process no doubt, but a positive one to say the least. Who knows what their plans are for 2023 footy wise, all three experienced the highs and lows of the game in 2022, add in Browne and EF have already made a positive start to strengthening their list for 2023.....time will tell no doubt.

Lynn Medal tomorrow and hopefully a few rumours to come from it recruiting wise. I did hear we’d signed Dixon and the kid from Richmond that everyone else was chasing. No news on Big Strats and Joyce. Not sure we need much more

I would have though that if we could get the players that were stolen from us and the injured boys back, we wouldn’t need a lot of new recruits.

Can't see Boekhorst coming back 58, especially next year, so if KC is on the money ex Richmond/ South Adelaide Fraser Turner will be a good recruit. Played along side English in the Richmond VFL premiership team apparently, also from Tassie, so maybe English and Dixon have played a part in getting Turner to EF(if true).

Whilst Joyce and Strnadica both will be welcomed back with open arms, Joyce has had a terrible run with injury and Strnadica opted for a break away from the game this year, so perhaps a wait n see approach may be adopted for both those boys.

Murdock, Eardley and Boekhorst top 3 in the Lynn for me.....doing his knee, might mean the reigning Sandover Medalist may finish in 3rd spot on the Lynn Medal tally board. Can't split either of Murdock or Eardley TBH

Buddha supposedly a bit of the coaches pet. But what is not to love about the guy? What he lacks in size more than makes up for with courage. Could get him over the line. Cannot fault the courage of Eardley mind you. Intuition says little Buddha. Boekhurst who was playing footy from another planet this season before his injury may finish 3rd in the B & F with a Sandover medal around his neck. Slightly bizarre situation.

Well Fraser Turner is now on EF list, ex Richmond/South Adelaide, 186cm midfielder.....also Joshua Cripps on EF list as well........probably another  admin exercise with the latter, but more then handy addition height wise, if he does suit up for EF in 2023.

Looks like 2023 flag in the bag KC! We choked in the finals this season and went out in straight sets. I’d like Boekhorst to win the Lynn he was our best player until injured…..but talking about pets, Jupp will go close.
Cripps soft…..can’t see him coping with Bill’s coaching but you never know.
Cute that you continue this little charade of being a supporter of the EFFC! Not sure what is the more dubious claim though, that or your old "I know what I am talking about, I played in the 1984 GF" line a few years back LOL. Anyway isn't straight sets when a team is eliminated from the finals without winning one? Probably is because you are always one to omit facts for the sake of your childish agenda.

Anger is not beneficial for your heart health Tim Tam. Try to be rationale and not reactive all the time. Many wonderful anger management programs in the city, do yourself a favour…..
PS might see you at the Lynn Medal?
No doubt speaking from personal experience. Though Vienna would be your best bet FF2. You would have them perplexed. Nah not going to the Lynn.  Doubt they would let you in anyway as I think its for adults.

You certainly are becoming the king of outrageous statements FF2.  I think I agree with Ti Em about your (non) allegiance to the Sharks.  That makes me wonder why.  Could it be that after presumably playing in the 84 losing GF, you weren’t good enough to make the successful 85 team and you’re still holding a grudge against the club?  I have had a fair bit of psychological training in my working years, so if you need to talk to someone, drop uncle Sharkie a note.😘

Can some of the stalwarts help with my memory?
It wouldn’t be the first time a Sandover Medallist hasn’t won the Lynn in that year?
