Whinnen considering EF has had 16 players drafted over the past 4 years, compared to WP with 3.....and WP made a colts GF this year and had nobody from that team drafted.

EF have no choice but to recruit. In 2019 EF  lost Jackson, Rivers, Sharpe, Ruscoe, McVee and Warner. In 2022 EF lost Woewodin, Williams, Warner, Teakle, Strnadica, Joyce and Dixon from their playing list.....WP have lost Chapman, Prior and Johnson over that time period. No wonder why  WP don't spend dollars on recruiting....they don't need to....they lose fark all!

Name me a WAFL club that has lost as many in the past 4 years then EF?....perhaps SD, and they have Anderson, Fisher, Kemp, McLachlan, Smith and Palmer on their books....

On the money there Freeze. you have lost a lot of talent from the development pool and that always means recruitment. I still think this may be your year, Interesting with Joondalup's dominance there was not much in the draft cupboard.

Strnadica playing ammos with North Fremantle!!

It’s a shame Strnadica hasn’t come back to the Sharks to be part of a genuine push for a drought breaking flag. Hopefully something he doesn’t regret down the track. North Fremantle must be paying him a small fortune- Schloithe and Mason Shaw as well

KC,  think Strnadica's decision to play Ammo's is a work related decision mate. I read Strnadica secured a country placement working for Clontarf. Pretty hard to play WAFL if you are working out bush Mon - Fri, obviously ammo's less so.

Fingers crossed Strnadica gets a tsf into one of Clontarf's metro colleges for next year. For now it's Nth Freo's gain, hopefully EF in 2024.

Seems like FF2 is going to be gutted on hearing Jnr has moved to the country for work.....Goddard playing country as well, whilst Medland has gone back to Vic for work. Newbies in the known recruits(Marsh Turner, Cripps, Dixon, Joyce and Lawler) plus some lesser knowns in

Austin Ball(20) from the Sydney comp, speedy winger/forward 

Orien Kerr (22) from Vic Country a speedy winger

Luke Holian (26) from SA Ammos a defender 

Good luck to all 3 guys for choosing EF and having a crack at WAFL footy.

Sounds like Boekhorst wont play in 23, LesterSmith will be a late starter, but O'Reilly and Leggett are making great strides after there injuries last year.

Ex colt in Jayke Scott is putting his hand up for some senior footy.

Daziell and Harry Taylor are overseeing EF Talls academy - rucks/KP players.

 

Nice little update, Freezin- great to see Harry Taylor back and involved.

Disappointing about Boekhorst- hopefully he pops up late in the season
