Can you please provide evidence that I claimed Swans where over the salary cap. If you can do it I will drop $1000 at the office at Bassendean for you to collect. May the good lord strike me down if I'm lying.

Having finished my morning walk and by God it's cool, I had another idea. If your more comfortable Swan I can donate the money to the Swans end of season trip/function.

Since I have already proved it LB, donate $500 to Telethon and $500 to Vinnies.

you will never move on from anything to do with Swans Freezin :)

good old Larry - he is the bloke that says he never goes to Basendean and made comments on the Swans/EP game that he said was based on listening to the radio yet on another topic gave comments on the Swans/EP colts game which was played at Bassendean on the same day.

I certainly would MO if you SD boys could hold back on the umpire bashing, bestest this bestest that attitude......TBH the Subi boys for all their successes over the last decade have been pretty humble about it......I guess it stems from those horror years thru the 70's.....I reckon that hat trick of flags in the 80's spoilt my generation of SD fans.....I remember my dad saying as much after the 60's hat trick.....he said the SD fans wear unbearably boastful then till the drought began till the 82 flag........

if you choose to worry about what Swan supporters do and say then that is your choice.

You will be waiting a while Freezin to see any quote from me suggesting Swans broke the salary cap, had done anything Illegal or should be sanctioned. I don't take it to heart though because you never know what type of mental or more likely social disorders people have to deal with. Are you suggesting one can't garner an understanding of a match from listening to the radio or reading the comprehensive stats available now days Mark.

Larry Bird wrote: Daniels and Gillard impressed me last week against Swans. My thoughts where that Swans looked more physically mature at times they played like men against boys. East Perth limited the damage in the second half but I feel Swans eased up a fraction. In the young Royals defence they missed the grunt of Decampo and Wright. Interesting thoughts on #30 DW he is very easily distracted by some push and shove then he is basically a spectator.

freezin...i think you'll find most subi supporters are pretty relaxed about our successes due to the fact we're in a very privileged position due to the AFL seats deal. i think most of us understand it must be very hard for other clubs (with the exception of WART and FART these days) to compete in the financial stakes meaning not only can we offer attractive contracts within the salary cap but also other benefits such as the latest in training facilities, non-playing personnel such as sports medicos and other intangibles. most players who come across from other clubs are impressed with Subi's professionalism and I recall one saying that where his previous club had one volunteer doing a particular job, Subi had 4. This all pretty much comes about due to the club's financial strength driven in the main by the seats deal. So yes we're pretty humble but there's a good reason.

But yes...I do take your point about being pretty ordinary as a club for a long period of time.
