Why can't you comprehend what you read?He was a work colleague and also a director at a rival club who attended the meeting with the commission.Hope that makes it simple enough for you.

where in your initial post above did you indicate that the director was at a meeting with the commission ?

Mudlark and LB let us start with some logic. If Swans were and I quote "roughly 20% over the salary cap" at the halfway mark of the 2014 season for Swans to be under the salary cap at the end of the season it would mean that over 20% of the salary cap would have had to be repaid by the Swans' players. A patently nonsensical proposition. Therefore, it is patently untrue that Swans' were over the salary cap at any stage during the 2014 season.

I personally spoke to both the Swans' President and Treasurer about the rumours about the salary cap and relayed their comments and repudiation of the rumours on this forum last year.

To further emphasise the patent nonsense of both Mudlark's and Lb's assertions here is a direct and unexpurgated quote from our Treasurer:

"At no stage were we ever in danger of breaching the cap in 2014.
When the WAFC looked at our figures after 10 games they divided our payments so far by 10 and multiplied by 20 and determined that if we continued to pay at that rate we would be over the cap.
What they didn't take into account ( a fact they soon realised ) is that we brought forward some payments in advance to accommodate special needs. At no stage were we ever in danger of breaching the cap in 2014."

Now Mudlark and LB the ball is in your court to provide evidence about the salary cap breaches in 2014 and the ATO arrangements since you and Clear-View seem to know more than Swans' directors.

If you don't have any evidence then a complete and unreserved apology should appear on this forum with alacrity from Mudlark, LB and Clear-View.

Why would the Commission be talking to another club's directors in a meeting about Swan Districts financial position?
42 this information should also be passed onto our Treasurer and President I would think!

I frankly don't care Swan just pointing out the facts. Each club can spend 5% of the cap per game on average. Swans where exceeding 5% for the first half of the year they rectified this by whatever means. What about this do you disagree with.

Not aware of the players concerned, just got told by an ex shark what happened, didn't ask for names as didn't really care.

If my info is not correct about the letter I will retract my comments.

LB as I pointed out AT NO STAGE WAS Swan Distritcs over the salary cap in 2014. Any assertion that Swans was over the salary cap in 2014 has BEEN DEMONSTRABLY SHOWN to be unequivocally and unambiguously WRONG. You and Mudlark WERE COMPLETELY WRONG when you asserted that Swans were in breach of the salary cap in 2014.

Your premise is fundamentally flawed and is so lacking in logic to be mind-numbing.

Can you please find the post where I asserted Swans breached the salary cap. I know how much you love evidence.
