That's a bucket load of points and dollars that have walked out the door with guys like Mahoney, Shep & Robbo accounting for something like 26 points at least and that's just for starters, so getting the new lads under the points cap should not be an issue.

Watch out the 6 other WAFL clubs. We are going to get raided.

not raided Cesspit...we just give players the opportunity to achieve their full potential which they otherwise wouldn't at underperforming clubs...so in essence you should be grateful as we're doing the players, clubs and comp a service.

Just been confirmed on the Subi website that he has retired. Was a handy player for us but was getting on a bit so a nice clearing of 10 points.

Brett played 118 WAFL games, 82 for Swans and 36 for Subi plus 2 state games. Not sure how many he played in the VFL for Werribee. A 2 time premiership player (2010, 2015). A wholehearted performer and a valuable contributor to both clubs. He actually came back from an early season knee reconstruction in 2010 to play in the Swans premiership team, a gutsy effort. I personally never begrudged him going to Subiaco for a better monetary deal in 2015 instead of coming back to Swans as he was at the age where he needed to make the most of his limited time in footy and he had already given Swans 6 good seasons of service. I hope he goes well in whatever pursuit he is following.
