dont let the facts get in the way of another Subi supporter fairytale

Sorry MO, I stand corrected, lets make that CL second best mid-fielder, I'm sure that the hopped up effort by TC didn't really make a 1 point difference to the result. And while your asking for others to move on why not take your own advice and move on from all your serious mental issues around the SFC, psychopathic obsession is a treatable condition.

Maybe they've come to terms with him and Freo if he doesn't land a stint at Her Majesty's pleasure or it could be he defaults back to Subi now that he's no longer a Freo player so just wishful thinking on my part. also Shep and Broughts are still listed so maybe the deal with Southport hasn't been done just yet.

SY automatically reverts back to Subi if he wants to or is available to play next season which seems unlikely. Lets hope that Shep and Broughts see the light and stay at Subi but I believe both are keen surfers so a stint on the GC would be attractive, Southport FC are a very rich club, they make Subi look like SD by comparison , those pockies fill their coffers year in year out.

Yeah as SS said, he reverts back to the Subi list automatically, same thing happened with Josh Deluca when he got delisted before being redrafted.

Interesting point about Shep and Broughts. When I checked all of Southport's media outlets the other day there was no mention of either of their names and you would expect any official confirmation might not come until the new year now. I guess we can still hope.

Here's hoping they are over there for a bit of a "holiday" and have had enough by the time 2017 rolls around.

Merry Christmas to all the Subi people!!!

very quiet on here....any more news on players? I see Broughton and Shep are still showing on Subi's list which has been updated with Robbo taken out and Litherland included. I wonder if that means their leaving to Gold Coast isn't a done deal just yet?

BC,Broughton is rumoured to be lining up for Toodyay where his older brother Chad will be playing coach in 2017.Wants to play in the same team with Chad before Chad hangs up the boots. If that is true,I reckon Shepheard would also abort the Southport plan and stay home,in which case He still might be a chance to play for Subi unless he returns to Mararet River.

Thanks Mudlark. I guess our list is pretty well set in concrete as I can't see too many additional signings happening and pre-season has started...so it looks like we'll be without a true ruckman again...bugger.

Yep BC,I think most club lists would be finalised now, especially major signings.Having said that,we did sign Michael Rix several years ago mid season,a great ruckman. Our rucks look like Bestry and Madut who hopefully will have a change of luck this year as he has a lot of potential.Chapman is another in the ressies with excellent size who is young but could develop into a good ruckman.
