....the only bad game they have played all year was the SF game....other than the Cl loss by 42 pts, all the other losses have been under 4 goals......with two of those under a goal.....EF have had 4 wins by over 10 goals.....not too sure how that compares with SD and EP, but compared with last year EF have been indeed down.

The side is up on the WAFL site....Howson out and Brennan out....Hadley still in but I thought he had done his knee.....interesting to see no Dalziell or Sheppard for WCE...I guess time will tell if they are late inclusions.....Cl look like usual, will dominate the ruck, thus containing the likes o Murphy, Blackwell and Foster will be crucial.....big ask to win, but I guess if you want to play finals that is what a side must do.

Subi means business in the colts they have dropped back Wood....thus another big ask for EF colts to get over Cl colts and by a margin atleast 4 - 5 golas greater than if Subi win over EP......for me EF reserves are knackered can see at least 4 - 5 colts names in the list.....thus supplies of fit players must be low in the EF camp at present....

prediction for the weekend.....atleast one of EF grades to sneak a finals berth at the finishing post.....which one it will be..... will be anyones guess!!

Freeze,

You and I just haven't quite seen eye to eye of recent have we ? My meaning is as obvious as the nose on your face (ladder position) and more importantly (win-loss). Last year we lost 3 or 4 games by less than a kick or there a bouts, unfortunately the league doesn't give you half or even 1 premiership point for an honourable loss !

Good luck on the w/end, I reckon you can win, unfortunately I don't think we will.

Luv Leedy !

boyle is a huge in...
have done really well in the rain this season

what a finish to the wafl season

If i was Brad Dalziel, I would tell the Eagles to "get f%cked" They use him like a condom, they slip him in, then dispose of him when they have finished f8cking him around ! He has been a shining light for them, along with Hutchings and they dump him for the last round ???????

I noticed that quite a few people were backing us to roll Claremont this week. I hope they are right, but logically I cannot see how Claremont could be anything but red hot favourites.

Hmm dont read the posts.. CLA have not won a game at EF oval in the last 3 years.. Only won by a kick at Kunnenara ... Will be close. EF have a lot more to lose than CLA. Can see them getting over the line.. If not can they at least run CLA into the ground and with a bit of luck Seabs shoulder should play up... Enjoy should be a great day at Shark Park

Cardy, I am not sure where you are getting your results from but looking over EF v CL games in recent times shows a fairly even split:

2010 R16 EF 77 CL 113
2011 R1 EF 72 CL 153
2011 R22 EF 110 CL 65
2012 R3 EF 122 CL 88

Hopefully we can push them on the weekend.

I have a feeling your game against Swans will be the game of the round.

Digitial station doing the SD V WP GAME so might be hard for your scoreboard guy to get updates. Radio Freo doing your game.. Know for a fact a couple of the guys in the Shark pit have WAFLONLINE app so can get scores from there.
ABC TV has the SD V WP game on as well so sure your TV'S in the bar will be on that. But as you say mate you have to get over the line first :)
Sure you will as you have a lot more to play for.. Gotta come out of the gates fast. Wet weather will slow the CLA big men down a bit as well.
Best of luck will be cheering for you from Basso..
ENJOY

Thanks for the support Cardy. The rain may indeed assist our cause. We played particularly well in the foxtel cup in games where it rained heavily. Another plus for us is that the game is not at Claremont because our recent record there is horrific. At least we have held our own in recent seasons at home against the Monts.
