Make an excuse and sneak out during the afternoon Shark, say you're not feeling well or something. Probably not a good look if its a wedding or something

....the only bad game they have played all year was the SF game....other than the Cl loss by 42 pts, all the other losses have been under 4 goals......with two of those under a goal.....EF have had 4 wins by over 10 goals.....not too sure how that compares with SD and EP, but compared with last year EF have been indeed down.

The side is up on the WAFL site....Howson out and Brennan out....Hadley still in but I thought he had done his knee.....interesting to see no Dalziell or Sheppard for WCE...I guess time will tell if they are late inclusions.....Cl look like usual, will dominate the ruck, thus containing the likes o Murphy, Blackwell and Foster will be crucial.....big ask to win, but I guess if you want to play finals that is what a side must do.

Subi means business in the colts they have dropped back Wood....thus another big ask for EF colts to get over Cl colts and by a margin atleast 4 - 5 golas greater than if Subi win over EP......for me EF reserves are knackered can see at least 4 - 5 colts names in the list.....thus supplies of fit players must be low in the EF camp at present....

prediction for the weekend.....atleast one of EF grades to sneak a finals berth at the finishing post.....which one it will be..... will be anyones guess!!

Freeze,

You and I just haven't quite seen eye to eye of recent have we ? My meaning is as obvious as the nose on your face (ladder position) and more importantly (win-loss). Last year we lost 3 or 4 games by less than a kick or there a bouts, unfortunately the league doesn't give you half or even 1 premiership point for an honourable loss !

Good luck on the w/end, I reckon you can win, unfortunately I don't think we will.

Luv Leedy !

All good Leedy.......whatever happens happens......good that the WAFL has gone down to the wire again.....nothing worse than than having the top four done and dusted by July time!!

Mate, this has got an EF win written all over it !

Sheppard and Dalziell would be better ins than Brennan Strono.......not too sure there state of availability either....both listed as WCE emergencies along with SF Adam Carter, Carter not named for SF either........read some where Howson has been upgraded by Freo.......and he and Simpson may debut for Freo v St Kilda......35K for Howsons upgrade......makes up partly for the 60K lost in the Foxtel GF debacle v WA

Dalziell being held over by FuckCoast. Dick out injured. Sheppard in. Not sure what's up with Brennan.

Hads & Boyle will play.

Did I see Simpson at the airport with Freo and listed as an emergency. He hasn't played for a month???

Sorry we let you down guys.. But then again I suppose your fate was in your own hands losing those close ones during the season.
Good Effort v CLA and as I predicted you got over the line. Good way to finish off the season anyway. It could of been your last game next week anyway with EP getting all their AFL players back who have played the 5 Games.
Formidable doesnt say it all unfortunately. My worst nightmare is EP winning the GF and there is a good chance of that happening. Time will tell

strange ole day from the looks of things down at Moss St today......good performance by the league side.....stuck to the task against the best side in the comp without the two leading goalkickers for EF playing....a few close defeats were costly, but in the end failure to win games v EP/SD during the season was the deciding factor....well done to those two teams, deserved the final two spots and good luck in the finals....hopefully Rory O'Brien can win the Sandover for his stellar consistent season to give EF at least one success for the year!!

....the reserves without 7-8 regulars playing towards the end of the season fell at the last few hurdles, fustrating, but TBH even if the reserves had made the finals they would of been bounced out in the first semi.....

...the colts TBH were enigmas all season......couldn't kick straight to save their lives....proved costly in the end......not too sure who will get drafted besides the obvious in Cripps and Marsh.....reckon EF will land on their feet if the likes of Bourne, Green, Jansen, Allirr, Sutton, Cuneo, Barone, Regan and Solomon stay at EF in 2014. Jacob Green to win the EF and WAFL F&B awards......stellar season by the kid, bit of a ball magnet similiar to the likes of WP Black and Nelson.

Disappointing to end up with 3 fifth placings for the year.....definite come down from 2012.....but the side at least got some footy into local lads like Cooper, Depane, Macdougall, Jansen, Jupp, Cronan etc who last year were blocked by 5 - 6 AFL boys playing most week......not the case this year as much with only 1 - 3 AFL boys playing most weeks......hopefully with a few fella's like MacNamara and Anthony likely returning in 2014.....plus a few select recruits.....yes an experienced ruck and key forward....EF will be more than competitive in 2014......

Cardy you seem to rate the afl players rather highly. Cripps, Morton, Rosa, Wilson... these blokes don't exactly dominate at wafl level. It's Johnson, smith and Lee that swans will be worried about next week.
It's a tigers swans grand final for mine.
