Real muslim people, and I've met a few after living in Dianella for some years, are quiet decent people who must cringe and shake their heads in dismay at the things people like this woman and other radicals of her ilk say in public, it just makes their lives so much harder. Does she really think that a performance like that will win our hearts and minds or is she just doing the radicals job of inciting hatred so the reaction to her comments will make it easier to radicalize more muslim youths?

By the way, I'm no fan of Lambie either.

I did see the Media Watch programme. Obviously it is preferable to be able to articulate your views in a calm and coherent way. In her defence it is perhaps understandable that she reacted in the way she did in the face of Jacqui Lambie's verbal assault.

In terms of the content of what she said I couldn't see anything particularly wrong or objectionable with the comments and I don't understand why to quote you "real (sic) Muslim people" would have a problem with the general thrust of her comments.

Nothing but trouble this bitch

Did you notice how she said "WE" got this before Europeans, seperating herself from mainstream Australia..

Also this is the same person that tweets just arrived in.. White as F*ck Brisbane.

Imagine tweeting just arrived in Black as F*ck Sudan...

Your comment is patently ridiculous as you ought to know.

Patently - rofl,,,saying Islam is a feminist religion is patently ridiculous,,,and your defending it.. in a PATENTLY ludicrous stance - as you well know...

well if that don't beat all...if you'll pardon the pun. Keyser Trad, until 2 weeks ago the President of the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils has come out and said beating your wife is step 3 in dealing with relationship issues according to the Koran after 1) sitting down and talking to each other and 2) buying chocolates. and we bring these people here willingly.

Perhaps the link below might go a long way to answering the question.

For the record and to preempt some of the Trumpolytes on here: Obama did have a problem with the bias of Fox News. What he didn't do is stop any of the Fox News correspondents asking questions at the Press Conferences. In fact Fox News would often highlight questions asked by Ed Henry of their Fox News' programmes.

Amusing, but im more concerned about whats happening over here, not whats going on with the media circus in the US.

How can you possibly defend this vile religion that encourages the beating of women if they do not comply?

If you wish to selective use quotes the same selective use of parts of the bible can be used to highlight similarly objectionable actions. Most Muslims nor any person of any faith would not consider that an acceptable action.

And to further put it into perspective were any of the following Muslim: Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot?

Except the former President of the Islamic council?

As for the bible argument, preaching to the choir mate. Religion is nothing but a sham. People who actively pray to and believe in a god need their heads checked, its pathetic.

If you are referring to the person that Andrew Bolt interviewed last week, that is exactly what Bolt wanted. Of course he wouldn't interview a person that he knew wold articulate opposition to the beating of women. It wouldn't suit his agenda. It is the same playbook as Fox News's hosts Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity use.

Regardless doesnt change the position he used to hold, or what he said. Or didn't say.
