We had Muslims here before Federation; how do you reconcile that to your assertions?

Is a difference between those who want to integrate and contribute to Australia and those who want a Muslim state, but with the Welfare benefits and other benefits of a Western Society.

Scales are tipping towards the latter.

Burqa, Sharia law, Polygamy, child marriage? All acceptable apparently.

And i take you again back to the UK. Similar governance system and that didnt stop whats going on there. I guess we are a little more fortunate geographically speaking, but in this day and age distance is becoming less and less of a barrier.

I wonder where Canon Law fits into your assertions? Integrate and contribute. Interesting. As I have pointed out previously there are Catholic masses celebrated in Perth in languages other than English in 2017. Some of those languages are: Italian, Polish, Latin, Croatian, Spanish, Lithuanian, Mandarin, Indonesian, Korean. I could list some more if you like. How do you reconcile the fact that they have not integrated into society by celebrating Catholic masses in English with your assertions?

Way off point, but ok.
Our entire system of governance was born on the back of the Catholic religion, our laws are based on the foundation of those beliefs. Which may i point out is pretty standard for most western societies, with a few obvious variations.
Countries founded on the Islamic religion have a completely different, incompatible set of laws / beliefs.

Wanting to sing "Our Father" in Spanish and wanting a 15 yr old bride are way apart on the acceptability spectrum.

Notwithstanding the "Our Father" is not often sung in a Catholic mass the former is LEGAL in Australia, the latter is ILLEGAL in Australia. I would also point out the likelihood of the latter being made LEGAL in Australia is less than me supporting the Liberal Party in this month's state election. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN- NOW or EVER.

I again make the point how is integrating into Australian society by celebrating Catholic masses in any other language than in English?

Thats exactly my point.
Want to sing mass in another language? Welcome to the country!
Want 3 wives and they have to all be covered head to toe? Stay the f%$k out.

Its the ideals and beliefs clashing with our current society that i have a problem with.

Brought up in a catholic house hold, attended a catholic school. I know all about it mate.
I dont remember ant times when the priest asked the congregation to take up arms against the infidel oppressors of the west. But again Islam is a religion of peace so i guess we have just interpreted that wrong.

How many times was the mass sung? Speak then to my point of Canon Law in Australia?
