I cant walk into a servo or a bank with a full face helmet on because they cant identify me if I was there to rob the joint or take off without paying for the petrol, so let anyone wear whatever they like just make it so they have to have their full face visible, if only for security reasons.

Lets face it there's some really rough lookin' heads around that should get covered up so the children don't get frightened especially up at any Swans home game, but for security sake the face should be visible.

SS exactly how many bank robberies have occurred in Australia in the past 2 years by someone wearing such clothing?

Also, I trust you are also supporting the banning of people wearing Father Christmas costumes given the potential it could be used in a terrorist act?

Well S42 I can still see father Christmas's face even with a big beard so if Father Christmas performed a terrorist attack we could still see his face, simple really. The fact is the full covered face is not a religious requirement it's a choice ... well more likely a demand by the husband/father.
ps: I like that you use the traditional term Father Christmas and not the sepo terminology of Santa.

But such an attack HAS HAPPENED.

Father Christmas will be a thing of the past anyway so we don't upset our non-Christian brethren. It's already happening in schools around the signing of carols so only a matter of time before it extends to other things. It's also just a matter of time before we're all forced to break for Ramadan to appease our looney left minority sympathisers.

That is less likely likely than me winning the 2020 Men's Olympics 100m Final in 7.75 seconds.

if you've got a home grown ISIS operative brandishing a sword chasing you up the Terrace I reckon you could beat that hands down.

But I have no expectation of that occurring.

Vilifying and marginalising minorities is not going to reduce the risk of terrorism, rather it will do the opposite.

The rise of Pauline Hanson is very much a product of John Howard's racist policies.

Your right Swan, the fact we have people walking around in these ludicrous outfits now in Australia is concerning, as for the bloke confronting her he was obviously rude and gruff but the questions he asks are legimate enough why go around with youur face covered like your living Saudi, these outfits should be banned.

spot on...if she wants to dress like that maybe she should move to Saudi where that sort of thing is the norm.

I guess at least she has the privilege of being able to drive a car here. lol

I remember as a kid when there were a lot more traditional Italians living in Fremantle when a women's husband or child died she would wear black for at least 12 months after, including a black veil over her head (black lace face un covered), we all thought it was a bit over the top, but interesting none the less, I guess being Irish catholic we sort of understood it in a way as well. However if you go about the same areas now you will see that tradition has ended , they brought it from the old world and then within a generation it ended, I wonder if the same will happen with the Islamic dress, somehow I feel it will not.
