I reckon absolute amateur hour by the cops on this one, there was so many red flags and dots that should have been connected earlier on this. Detective David Caporn, the same bloke that was responsible for the Andrew Mallard debacle, focused all the energy on poor old Lance Williams, because, like Mallard, he just wanted to get his man and be a hero. Can’t believe how unaccountable this Caporn bloke is, where’s the scrutiny?

TOO correct, as Bazza said, people should also be thinking of Mr., Williams and his family. Just one point on the case, regarding the police: there was never any real evidence that the girls got in a taxi.

That's a nice way of putting it Ark. She is an idiot lacking in comprehension skills, like most journo's

I would say that being an Eagles or Dockers supporter is a case of normality in Perth, don't see how you could disagree with that.

This sort of journalism is what Ciara Glennons father was talking about the other day when he said that media publicity and speculation around the case had increased the pain for the families concerned.

Really I am not the slightest bit interested in which football team this piece of excrement Edwards followed or how he was as a family man or what his previous girlfriends or fellow employees thought of him.

What I focus on is the cruel and evil acts that he has performed which have had a devastating effect on so many innocent people and destroyed more lives than the 3 poor girls that he took out (2 beyond reasonable doubt but probably Sarah Spiers as well)

This scum has forfeited his right to be treated as a normal human being and the only interest I have now is that he rots in prison for the rest of his life with no media focus on him.

You said it all mike. But he may not rot in prison for the rest of his life. Didn’t he try to kill himself while incarcerated? Plus I wonder if one or some of the inmates will try something? I imagine he will be isolated from the general “residents”.

I'm not sure why you are so offended by that. I was just stating my opinion that I don't have a high opinion of Caporns work. Not sure whats so gutless about that.

Precisely, some people lose their shit over nothing. You could tell commissioner Dawson didn't like Liam Bartlett trying to nail him when he pointed out that if Police had done their job properly surely a red flag should have been raised when he pleaded guilty to the attempted sexual assault which he was only charged with common assault of the social worker working at Hollywood Hospital in the late 80's when he was still living in Huntingdale.

The red flags should have sprung up in the minds of those working around the Huntingdale area where there was an unsolved sexual assault case and reports of a prowler in the area stealing women's underwear. They (the local cops) could have identified him as the same person then because they had fingerprints from Hollywood Hospital and the sexual assault and prowling in Huntingdale.

Bingo that might have stopped him in his tracks there and then and put him fairly and squarely on a sex offender list. If he did go on and rape and murder women he would have been one of the first to go and check his alibi, cross match his finger prints and take his DNA.
Get on your bike.
