We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended

Grump, pretty easy to win awards when you are for all intents and purposes the only show in town and when there's no competition there's no pressure to lift your game.

Sure it's on every front page and leads every news bulletin but those journos are just reporting facts, allegations and defences as they become known and not expressing an opinion. Also, the prosecution is making allegations only at this point and not presenting any evidence so as it stands at present he's innocent until proven otherwise.

Yeah there is no problem reading the reports and having discussions in private, but I wouldn't be passing judgement on the evidence in a public written forum.

Guys there is 119 pages of discussion on the other footy forum and this is a judge alone trial not before a jury. I'm only commenting or repeating what is being reported. There's a difference between that and saying the bastard is guilty and deserves life. He is entitled to a presumption of innocence despite the evidence or statements made so far.

Do you think people shut up about Lois (low) Loder before she was convicted?

hahaha...yes I don't think His Honour will be logging on to OF to get the latest views of punters on here or Yovich to see if his client is being unfairly castigated...so we hear what you're saying but you can never be too careful I guess.

True BC. I was on a jury several years ago and I am aware of as a jury member you are not to even comment on the case verbally with your closest confidants and you are warned not to go online or to libraries and make comment or search for media stories.

Trial was scheduled for 5 or 6 days and dragged on to 8. We put the scumbag away but the idiot committed a much more serious crime after he got out. Some seem incapable of helping themselves to stay out of trouble.

That would probably be Bigfooty Bazza. Its a very large forum with a lot of posters and ones comments do tend to become somewhat lost. I much prefer this site.
