42...the aussie cricket team can be pretty ordinary at times in relation to behaviour as well but these 2 clowns have turned it into an art form. i'm not sure why you continue to defend the indefensible.

The Australians were angelic schoolboys in the most recent Test compared to the behaviour of the opposition who seem to think their every appeal should be met with the finger up and then have the gall to question umpire why when its turned down!

Neither you nor me are privy to the health situation of Tomic at the time he withdrew from the match in Mexico. With respect to the fact that he was able to play doubles a couple of hours later is not that surprising. For the ignorant joutnalists who were stunned by that is a damning indictment on their complete lack of knowledge of what is required to play singles versus doubles.

As for Kyrgios I am not defending the indefensible. Whilst sledging may be de rigueur for the Australian Cricket team it is not the norm during a tennis match. Not during an ATP match nor specifically during a Davis Cup tie and there are specific rules against such behaviour.

Further I fully support and agree with his assessment of the inconsistency regarding the application of the rules.

BH you have absolutely no idea of his physical condition at the time. Since you rival G Mitchell's knowledge of sports perhaps you can provide some information regarding the Australian cricket team's wicketkeeping position selection in the context of sledging?
