I think there needs to be a basic respect between users of this site, just as you show respect to workmates or family. Sure have a fiery debate about the issues or some jovial banter is OK and entertaining to read(e.g Freezin/BH) but being reduced to homosexual slurs?....C'mon guys.

My view is that people need to be very careful slagging off individuals on blog sites as there have been precedents set in legal cases where people have been sued for libellous comments which are often made in the heat of the moment when people are angry. There is nothing wrong with people expressing an opinion but in reading some of the comments over the past 12 months, I often have wondered whether people think that Mcmahon has been responsible for a number of crimes against humanity rather than just being a poor coach. There is a perspective needed here.

I have a simple rule if I write something in a state of frustration for this blog or an email as well. I leave it for a while, go away and have a cup of tea or something and then come back and reread it. If the post doesn't add anything to the debate I delete it.

Oh please!!! I started the thread inwhich I included myself as being in the wrong. To which PN preceded to tell me to "stick it up my arse". I gave as good as I got thereafter. I certainly didn't lose my cool, played with PN who despite claiming this thread to be "shitty" kept posting insult after insult, to which I retorted.
You might enjoy/find freezin's posts, yet for the most I don't, therefore I must be wrong. Freezin and I have since moved on.
And yes, legal cases have happened, hence why I posted in the beginning and included myself as being in the wrong. Yet I got attacked, don't think I crossed the line,if you do then fine, but don't preach.
That said, keep smiling and have a good day.

I'm not preaching Jimmy, all I am saying is that if someone tells me to "stick it up my arse'. I won't respond to this so the other person then has nowhere to go. People who want to troll you gain their energy from your responses. If you ignore them they will go away. You can only control your own behaviour.

I realise and to some point agree, but what's the saying....evil only prospers when good men do nothing....or something like that. Trolls are online bullies, and as I have found on here, in Japan and Australia if you stand up then you soon find that most bullies get caught out of their depth, such as PN's efforts.
Let him have a crack at me, I find his efforts quite amusing.

The truth of the matter is this thread wouldn't of been started if McMahon wasn't part of the Tigers coaching staff, as for defamation really? Saying some one was a crap coach .

No doubt I may have gone over the top with my responses to Jimmy, but some of his responses were just as bad sounds a bit like the kettle calling the pot black.

Jimmy, pay no attention to PN. His post are always of the simplest in thought.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!
