Congratulations to WP. did not see the game, brother (who is a WP supporter)had his 80th today, but then he is a carlton supporter as well.

Well done to the Falcons. They completely outplayed East Perth after quarter time with a dominant midfield display. Marcus Adams was outstanding and hardly gave that Eagles bloke a sniff. Lourey was a fine target all day and his marking and kicking for goals with the tricky breeze made a lot of difference. All the usual suspects played well and their pressure forced East Perth into error. Really impressed with Kody Manning, he always gives it 100%. Now they need to lick their wounds and come up with a plan to try and unsettle Subiaco. From watching them today I think they are capable of it but I guess its a matter of how much petrol they have left in the tank.

Also congrats to the Swans Colts and Reserves for winning through to their grand finals. Both teams will be massive underdogs but you never know what might happen on the day

Mikeh spoke to our Reserves coach today and he was pissed seeing what the Swans were doing to Subi.. He said pity we didnt knock over Swans the previous week when it looked like were dominating in the first half.
I watched the game and I must say Swans Ressies have a good chance if they turn it on like they have over the last 2 weeks. Well done to their coach in getting them up for finals. All the best to them next week. Will turn up early for the GF game and watch what I reckon will be a ripper.
The WAFC must be very very happy with Swans having 2 teams in the finals as their crowd will most probably boost the income on the day.
WP v Subi should be ok as well with the majority of supporters being from WP.
It seems the team they have tried to Crucify has bought home the goods for them. I still consider the WAFC as low lifes who are incapable of running the WAFL. Hope they dont drink and eat to much in their private box during the 2 AFL games and can possibly turn up on Sunday. I DOUBT IT. But who cares.

PS I will be making a donation to the Subi Football club as I enjoy drinking in their bar. They use real glass to put the beer in.

Rasmussen wont play next week but Johnson should be ok. Fantastic win, to be five goals down and win the game by five goals is a huge effort. Joe Morrow was outstanding, my observation on his game is based on where he took strong marks and his disposals. Keitel's game today was better and he showed some grit, remember he is a young man. I hate to say it but Adams will be picked up by a VFL club, this bloke has a football brain. Like Cardy mentioned Drew Rohdes game was bloody good and the quiet achiever Steven Browne did his job. Gee lourey, six goals from a man who had a crook ankle, fantastic and its bloody great that no AFL aligned club is in the finals.

Winger mate can you believe it? last year we finished about 6th and this year the big dance, proud of these blokes and glad they will be there, at least it will be a G7 grand final and not sabotaged by the AFL fake teams, it was 20 years ago we played SUBI in the GF, amazing how many times we have played them in a GF...YeeHaa!!!

Well done WP - I thought we'd be up against EP in the big one but the Cardys showed their fighting spirit. Subi favs but WP will throw the kitchen sink at us so we ll have to earn it !!! The WP crowd will flock in and we ll have to play at our best - give the munchers a sniff and they'll take us - we must be switched on. Previous games mean nothing - this is a stand alone game winner takes it all - don't read anything into past results. Looking forward to a tough game next week.

Gee thats funny DW... I thought I saw 2 SD teams playing at the same venue today? Lead up games to the WP V EP game. Most probably accounted a lot towards the crowd as well.

I realise to some the Colts and Reserves are not of any consequence and dont deserve a mention but in my book they do and anything that occurred at Joondalup today is on topic.
