So the WAFC who are EP's and Channel 7's Bitches obviously decided to give it to 7 so East Perth boat wouldnt be rocked and their sponsership.

Channel 7 broadcasts all the does all the state leagues now and have the controlling interest in AFL even though 9 and 10 do some matches free to air through an agreement

I suggest the WAFC bring out a policy of no Media sponsership on a Football team
as it OBVIOUSLY TURNS INTO A CONFLICT OF INTEREST.

I did a bit of research and have noticed NO television stations sponser any AFL clubs.

I suggest Mr Stokes a West Australian and the owner of Channel 7 put his foot down on this bullshit and Tell his management in WA and other managers to pull their heads in and drop the whole issue. Maybe it would of been different if Subi got the Channel 9 sponsership a Mr Stokes is a supporter of the that club.

I have stayed away from the topic but please explain why it is EP's issue.

Totally agree Grump it has nothing to do with East Perth: unfortunately for you East Perth exists in name only; it is in the context of the Eagles' reserves' teams sponsors of Channel 7 and The West Australian.

Might also be worth clubs inc West Perth looking in to sponsorship deals from the alternate brewery Lion. How much money is trickling down to WAFL clubs from the WAFC coffers in the current deal?? Is the slice even worth it. These agreed sponsorship deals are clearly a restraint of trade when it prevents clubs from offering a product that can not be provided under current arrangements. When comparing CUB products to Lion's right now it is like comparing chalk to cheese. I know at amateur levels the sales lost by not being able to supply Corona, Emu Export, Jack Daniel and Jim Beam products is massive and all for about $200 worth of free piss every year...hardly worth the restrictions imposed on clubs under current agreement. Worth looking in to for sure especially when living under the current dictatorship of the AFL chronies in the WAFC.
