Heard the same from some of the lads at Tuart Hill CC who repeatedly used the word joke regarding the lay day.

Channel Seven Perth taking a very narrow minded and petty approach to the West Perth telecast issue.
The average weekly audience rarely passes 100,000 households.
Understandable if it was the AFL coverage, but a local feeder competition??

Hmmm sponsors at EPFC are Channel 7 and they appear to have the most games being broadcast... Conflict of interest.

For those who haven't looked at the televised games as yet, these are the advertised fixtures. 17 of the allocated 18 games in the qualifying rounds, remembering that Round 23 has yet to be allocated.

C - 3 as home team. 1 as visitors
EF - 3 as home team. 1 as visitors
EP - 1 as home team. 4 as visitors
PL - 2 as home team. 2 as visitors
P - 2 as home team. 1 as visitors
SF - 2 as home team. 3 as visitors
S - 3 as home team. 1 as visitors
SD - 1 as home team. 4 as visitors
WP - none allocated

So, the above shows that Claremont, East Fremantle and Subiaco have the most as home teams while East Perth and Swans have the least at home but equal most as visitors.

Not exactly a conflict of interest.

I'm more interested in how do SD and SF get 5 telecast games and the reigning premiers get one less?....what a joke....where did SF finish again?......smacks of favouritism me thinks......considering SF and SD are two of the "best supported" teams in the comp wouldn't be smarter to televise them less and draw their "many" fans to the game to boost the crowd numbers.......

Subi get 3 home games + 1 "away" game against EP televised, its games at your home ground that are important, not away games.
Subi get 4 games to showcase their ground sponsors, Swans get 1.

Can't agree MO.How does having a televised home game help.A lot of people will stay away if the weather is iffy and affect the bar. It's not all about the sponsors.you need to make money at your home games.Food, bar, raffles and if people stay at home to watch it i can't see it being that much of a benefit.

so most WAFL folk are pissed channel 7 are giving EP too much exposure because of their WCE connection......yet SD are getting the same exposure and SD fans are still pissed......pretty sure BHP, Chevron etc aren't banking on a few folk watching SD on the telly at home to generate majority of their 2015 profits.......and I really don't think seeing a signage of Joey's Icecreams is going to stir up my desires for a choc 99 MO....but then again can't blame some folk for being easily influenced.....I promise next time I'm at Steel Blue I'll shout you, BH, 42, DW, Mikeh et al one each mate . ;)

think you will find the big sponsor $ at clubs apart from jumpers are in prime positons - behind the goals and on the wings and the scoreboard, then again others seem to know best so maybe they can explain why companies want ground signage if nobody is going to look at it ?
I know of companies that ask for their sign to be on the outer side so it can be seen on tv telecasts but obviously they are the stupid ones.
