Thanks Ben, that video clip completely supports the umpires decision, that waterboy will be feeling pretty crap, but shouldn't, the Ducks players will surely be reassuring him that the game was lost by their mistakes not his. if it had happened earlier in the game no one would be talking about it. Swans supporters want to take a number of other decisions in isolation but aren't prepared to look at this one in isolation.

What about the umpires down at Shark park they were soo bad it cost Subi victory, they must have missed over 10 free kicks in front of goals that would have made the difference

The penalty's a bit harsh tho, it's only Swans.

After watching the footage you guys should be down right embarrassed with your comments on this issue! You have been shown up big time! If you honestly think that was not a 50 then your credibility is completely and utterly gone!

I never said it shouldnt be a 50..

just as it should be a 50 when a player throws the ball back to an oppo player on the bounce like what happened in the 3rd qtr to Elari..

I didn't get a very good view of the incident watching from the other side of the ground, but after having watched that youtube clip there is no doubt it was 50 going by the crying from some Swans supporters it bemuses me that they think they were hard done by.

I think they were stunned.

I think they underestimated us.

Which I am hoping some other sides do.

The intensity we showed in the first half was stunning.

As I pointed out earler it wasnt just that LAST 50m penalty that Swans fans are upset about it was the the last 5 minutes of the game where-

1) A goal was taken off Swans kicked by Garlett for just your usual buffeting on the goal line that you see 100 times a weekend that would have put Swans 2 kicks up (myself & swandog where side on to this "supposed" free) ..decision free kick to Perth!

2) The non holding the ball decision paid against no23 from Perth as he was running out of defence & was run down & just dropped the ball which would have given Daly a shot at goal 25m dead in front to put us 2 kicks up ..decision free kick to Perth!

3) The 50m penalty against Notte (just before the french trainer one) when the umpire had not even blown the whistle to pay a mark as yet when Notte grabbed the player ..decision 50m to Perth!

There was also looking back now at the incredible non decision to penalise the Perth player who threw the ball back to Elari on the bounce after he was paid a free kick in the 3rd qtr ..but hey Mr Umpire pays that exact ruling AGAINST Swans at the 33min mark of the last qtr!

I hope the videos of the above incidents are also put up on the net for the armchair umpires to make their rulings on but me thinks Sinclair & his band of merry men have hidden that footage so as not to embarrass his precious little boys!!
