I've half a mind to chuck my GWS socks in the bin. Honesty of all the footballers in Australia couldn't they have picked someone else!

Pretty sure that wouldn't hold any appeal for him. Obviously good mate Matt Deboer has put in a good word for him but if there is any substance to it I would be surprised if he showed any interest.

$$$$ Money $$$$$ Surely would be his only motivation.

what 30 plus year old wouldn't prolong there career by being picked up by another club, zero I would have thought.i don't blame him one bit.
How our club responds recruiting wise is the bigger mystery.

think we know why he didnt take the job at Guildford now, must have known something..

...So he signs with Perth instead.
That makes no sense at all.

If he had an inkling GWS were going to rookie list him he would have told all wafl clubs interested in his signature i will make a decsion after the 28/11 rookie draft.

Is it possible he did know GWS were considering him but thought his signing with Perth might help them sign other players?

He'd be on a rookie contract though so the money wouldn't be that great.

I think he wanted to play at Perth but was equally happy to continue his career as an AFL footballer if the opportunity arose.

While I'm disappointed Tendai won't be suiting up in the red and black next season I wish him well.

Even more disappointing is that to replace someone of his experience will cost more than one point.

Hopefully we can now get a second ruckman/key forward and then a key defender. Depending on how many points are left after that then who knows but I wouldn't mind seeing some of the youngsters get backed in to play a role.

Nup,I reckon there interest in him came after he signed with us,no doubt the conspiracy theorists will think otherwise.

Not much goes right for this footy club. Did someone put a curse on the Redlegs?

Yes Jebus - I think there is a curse.... I call it the Cable Curse... The Curse started with Cable stolen by EP in 1978 and lets face it, it hasn't been good for us since. .

Sounded very fete accompli to me hearing him speak on 6PR tonite!
