I have to say that I am not a natural fan of Turnbull never have been, mainly based on his leadership of the ARM, he supported a lot of things I didnt like, however I was prepared to accept him as leader on the basis he maintained some key elements of Liberal policy, Border Protection, the SSM Plebisite , didn't push the Republic and general Liberal policies of lower taxes , protection of negative gearing etc..the he all did, he was generally the most impressive leader the LNP had so I was happy for them to keep him and try and maintain some credibility with the electorate.

There were things I really couldnt get my head around he over saw, Birminghams handling of school funding has been a disaster, Ive no idea why they walked into that minefield for no reason.

Reagrdless its very disappointing to see him go, he should of lead us to the next election.

We're right up there with Italy and some of the South American countries for political dysfunction. Same shit, different day.

There are some decent ones around BC, but yep its pretty hopeless last 10 or so years.

Yes...I completely agree Bazza. As he was the incumbent PM at the last election, he should have taken the coalition to the next election and copped whatever result came his way. This revolving door of PM's due to party in-fighting on both sides has to stop. Its destabilising and quite frankly makes us an embarrassment on the international stage. Shorten won't last as PM either so I wonder who will knife him from behind? Tanya? Albo?

Turnbull calling a press conference in 20 minutes. Most likely to announce his resignation. Un fucken believable. The banks and Super companies must be going Phew....... Giving them a breather. Just when the government was making progress with these rogue organisations and it looked like we finally have a solution for the GST farce the whole joint has turned into a rabble.

As I have said, let's have a Republic so all these WANNABES can run against each other and WE DECIDE who we want as leader.

Yep spot on, Abbott should of faced the electors first time around and worn what ever came his way...same with Turnbull.

Shorten will be PM in about 6 months or so, how long he lasts is anyones guess, probably not long , Albo is there and a lot of others younger , one thing for sure is the polls will soon start collapsing around Shorten within months of winning he is pretty toxic and just not liked.

RDO bazza.

42 life is too short you would be better off spending your Rdo taking a stroll down to the river in Ascot, a bush hike in Lesmurdie Falls National Park, a game of golf at Hillview GC, a hit of tennis at Belmont TC or having a quiet schooner down at the Balmoral all within your beloved electorate of Swan then watching the rubbish going on in Canberra they are an embarrassment to our great country the lot of them!

Isn't the Balmoral in E Vic Pk? He can have a scooner with Ben Wyatt and have a chuckle knowing Labor will win the next election by default. Where does this leave us in WA on the GST? Pretty sure Short ass gave bipartisan support for Turnbulls gst reform but I don't trust that grubby little man as far as I can throw the dwarf.

Apparently MT is waiting to get the petition with at least 43 signatures to call a party meeting. If that happens the meeting will take place tomorrow and in-between he's getting advice from the Solicitor General on whether Dutton is eligible to sit in parliament. What a shambles!!! These self-centred pricks would eat their own if it meant 5 minutes of power....meanwhile the poor suffering people of Australia have to sit back and watch this crap as it unfolds.
