Agree that Jetta, Redden, Cripps, Le Cras, Yeo have all been disappointing. Apart from Jetta, the rest will still be there next year, but on notice. I think another disappointment is Darling - brilliant one minute, cold the next. I can't see where Simmo is content with the list and their performance. I wouldn't expect huge changes, but there has to be 2 or 3. God anchor, what does NN have to do to earn a bit of respect from you Freo boys? Perhaps the colour of his jumper skews your opinion?

Are you saying the Eagles will delist Jetta after one poor year 58Shark?

Lets face it last season the Eagles surprised everyone,they had a soft draw,played most of the top 8 here in Perth,had a good game plan and had very good form to go with it.
2016 see's them with a far tougher draw and poorer form,the Dockers in 2017 will benefit with there poor 2016 form by getting a soft 2017 draw.
Swings and roundabouts with the fixture draw.

This season there are a number of reasons why they are nowhere near there 2015 form.
There 2 gun recruits in Jetta and Redden have been very disappointing but in saying that im not ready to get rid of them based on 1 season if we are having this conversation this time next season then yeah there heads will be on the chopping block.
Because of this 2 players in any given week are playing in there place and probably are not quite up to it and are not having the impact the Eagles would have expected in Jetta and Redden.
I think the Eagles have a huge problem with there depth and no doubt have to turn over there list(as do all AFL clubs) with guys like Lucas,Adamson,Colledge.McInnes and a couple of others to be looked at.
There form has been very patchy and no doubt a couple of players need to lift there ratings,players like Darling an Yeo.

Don't worry about Nic Nat,the Eagles are a far better team with him in it.
He's never going to be this 15 marks,20 kicks a game type of player and some need to get over it,he makes up for "the possesssion game" in so many other different facets of the game.

So your question "where to from here".
Win 2 of there last 3 games and go into the finals with some form,thats a must unlikely to happen but a must.
As ive stated before with all there "poor" form they are only 2 games from top spot and 1 game from second spot.
Not a bad spot to be in at the start of round 20.
imo they will finish 6th or 7th.
The old cliche in footy they control there own destiny.

Next season is not even worth worrying about with drafting,delistings,recruiting an unknown.

No mike, I should have said there's a chance they would be looking at him and talking to him about his form. As some have said, he didn't set the world on fire last year at the Swans and has bought his lack of form with him. Such a pity because when he plays with confidence, he is brilliant. They have to find out what is going on in his head!!

30 yrs, agree mate, but fair dinkum if you think something magic is goner happen re Jetta's form next year your dreaming, nothing is goner turn around there now, I'd cut my loses now , accept it hasn't worked and delist.


Basically the Eagles have been done over a barrel by the Swans, gave up Sinkers for a lemon.

Great write up 30yr. There list is in top shape considering the age of it. In form jetta & redden could make all the difference
