Without doubt one of the most important derbies for a long time, pivotal game more so for the dockers , but nevertheless impotnat, you get the feeling this game may well decide if the dockers get a crack at the GF again. A loss here means Port and Cats to come, it could get ugly.

I'll have a go anchor. While the game is huge for both teams -even this early in the year, I think Freo has more to lose. Most pundits had the Eagles finishing somewhere between 6th and 10th, while Freo are expected to play off in the GF. A lot of expectation for them to handle. Having said this, it pains me to say - Freo by 17 pts. And that's 1 tip I'd LOVE to drop

The Dockers look a lot better this week with Barlow and Ballantyne back in the side. Then again the Eagles have a few back as well, will be an intense game I think, decided in the last 15 minutes. Freo by 2 goals

Mate, I don't go for this 'territory' crap. I lived in the wheat belt as a kid and started to follow EF from a very young age - never changed. I started following WCE in '87 - never changed. Unlike a lot of people around, I will follow my team till the day I go to meet the footy gods Your opinion of my allegiance matters about . that much to me and I can assure you that I won't lose any sleep over what you think.

How can anyone question who follows what AFL club ??
I'm West Aussie but buggered if I would ever follow anyone but the mighty Kangaroos.

I too see it as a club comp not a State of Origin one.
Considering WA clubs are full of Victorians, and VIC clubs are full of West Aussies, this argument of supporting your "state" is predominantly baseless.
