I'm sure there's a reason why West Coast wants to keep Woosha as coach without at least looking around, but it escapes me at the moment.

Why the rush to reappointment Worsfold, why not check out whats around. For mine he's run his course at WCE

Spot on Shark, I think there are a number of players that probably need to be retired or moved on as I think that the team in general lacks pace and needs a refresh. Some names that come to mind are:
Embley, Kerr, Sheppard,Cripps,Rosa, Ash Smith, Newman, Dick, Morton, Hams. I'm not saying delist all these guys but have a good look at what they could potentially add to the team in 2014 and if there is anyone else around who could do better.
In Kerrs case, he has been a wonderful player for WCE, but they have to consider whether his body can cope with AFL footy after all the battering it has taken. A victim of his great courage

I hardly think West Coasts list is old Bazza. Bar Cox and Glass (currently the only 2 veterans getting a consistant game) WCE list is quite youthful. Embley needs to give it up, Kerrs body isnt holding up. A.Selwood has retired.
Granted there are a few passengers on the list though. Smith, Butler, McGinnity et al.

Obviously WCE are not a wet weather footy team, not much chance of gaining more experience there.
If it was dry scores would have been different.
Stand out for me was the big difference in work rate, the Cats creamed it.
Ken Judge has been saying for a while now he believes the way the AFL is going is taller mids, or bigger bodies. The likes of Gaff, Dalziell, Hutchings, Cripps are generally uncontested ball winners. Too many of them. Maybe throw Darling in the middle and bring in Dick into the forward line to see the measure.
