The thoughts that I hear are that he has once again lapsed into being a monday coach and that as someone else has said the once great game plan is no longer that great.

His bacon was saved by Scott Burns arrival and his impact on the way they played 3 or 4 years ago.

If the weagles want a coach then Burns should be the one they go for, Roo's if he wants it but no one any older than him.

He's a Premiership coach.
Theres no doubt his coaching style of the mid 2000's is not working with this group and no doubt he has to tweak his game plan and of course like all the other clubs wish for that he can recruit 1 or 2 established players from other clubs.
And you know he will get a 2 or 3 year term.

Whilst on coaches contract extensions the rest of the comp will be hoping Swans offer Harding the term you so generously want for Woosha.

Hey Swan the footy teams you follow are any of those coaches League Premiership coaches??

30: my footy team I support is Swan Districts and has been from the time I started supporting them in the 1960s. Would you like a link to the Swans' site so you can read about Swans' history?

Grump how is my expression of my opinion that they should keep him for another 10 years is not 'on topic' given that the topic is 'WCE coach'?

Personally I think Worsfold stays. However I believe it is time for change. Problem is where are the candidates.

Burns: if he is so good a coach why are West Coast so poor in the middle with the assets they have?

Roos: pipe dream. No challenge there and puts him four hours further from the States.

Sumich: will never get the respect of a senior coach at WC.

Eade: seems another unlikely to settle in a new state at this age.

Simpson; apprentiship at a good club done. Possible smoky first time coach.

Walsh: big wraps. Potential the real wildcard of the field.

No real standout there.. Perhaps the grass is greener with Woosha.

Only keep Woosha if we can trade IN some hard as nails hard running men and trade OUT all the hipster dudes, with their 3/4 length jeans, tattooos and ned kelly beards. The hipsters wouldnt put their life on the line for him whereas the real men may

Interesting point of view there MrTC. May well be on the money, although I wouldn't write Roos off if John decides to call it a day. As for Suma, I'd be surprised if he got an AFL gig. Anyway, it appears to be a moot point after John's last TV interview.

ucker....you are an idiot.

If you are suggesting that 3/4 jeans and tattoos and beards....then you will be pointing at Masten. He has been great this year and has been veyr hard at it.

If you are saying anyone with a beard then you are throwing Josh Kennedy in their. I think his chase down yesterday shows he puts in hard, runs hard and puts everything on the line.

Bomber Thompson was almost sacked at the end of 2006 for a very average season caused from in house dramas with someone's wife.
They held on to him, hopefully history repeats quite quickly.
Eagles forward line has been good this year scoring the fifth highest score total.
Hurn, Waters and Schofield having games off with Glass out last week is where we are losing games. Midfield defensive pressure is off also.
With Woosha having conjugal issues this year, he without a doubt deserves next year if he so chooses. As it looks like he does.

Conspiracy theorists wanted here. Why has Woosha said that he wants to coach at another club if the Eagles don't renew his contract - the club has already stated publically that they want him to stay on.
