Looks like Darling may go on the inactive list.  They picked up ex Richmond player Naish and will trial him on the weekend, interesting!  Dixon signed on, good luck to him, but shit news for the Sharks.  Hope they end up on passing on Strnadica and Joyce, but I won’t hold my breath.

Seems Jack has managed to get out from under his wifes and MIL anti vax influence and is now reportedly had his 2 shots, just waiting on the paperwork to be approved by the AFL before joining the main group. I think he may have lost a lot of credence with his team mates over his selfish approach. If he ended up getting the jabs why not do it in January before the original deadline.

Talk about drama queens. This mob always forgive and forget whatever they do.
They always back good players in. Never sack them.

Yeah you would be wondering how the players will feel about him after all that. Of course they will downplay it publicly but they wouldn't be human if they weren't pissed off with him. Given his layoff I would say they wouldnt pick him until he has picked up his training regime for a while and he may be kicking around in the WAFL for quite a few weeks and be made to earn his place in the side.

They never do that mike.  He will come straight back in.  They never drop big name players.
They give them chance after chance when out or form.  They back them in.  It's always
same old no name players.  That's how Simo works.  Always has been, always will.

I think the Eagles have got this right, people may disagree with me on this but I think for a bloke who cops a mountain of shit from both West Coast and opposition supporters I think he's a top shelf forward. Jeez he cops some shit for his dropped chest marks in the two grand finals, and rightly so, but never much mention of his gigantic third quarter (premiership quarter) in 18.
As Roman said they treat big name players differently (like every club in the country does) and you can't or shouldn't sack a player of Darlings calibre if there's a chance of him still playing. And he'll be fit as a fiddle he's a complete professional.

There may be a couple of players that will be peed off with him and for good reason, but life as professional footballers has to go on.  He’s another Rowan Jones…. unfairly criticized.  I’ll be first to put my hand up and say I have criticized him on a couple of occasions, even though I knew I was being unfair.  You can bet not one AFL team would have sacked him and they would have been watching the outcome just in case.  De Gooey was never in line to be sacked either.

Well now he's back I hope he has a good season along with Mcgovern so they are attractive in the trade market that will help WC re-build after season 2022.
