MO -yep, you cant blame him if everybody is priced out of the market.
MO is true that players from Victoria have a different points value depending on how long they have played in the WAFL? If so, that needs to be got rid of as well.

If these measures stay in place for an extended period and Subi starts dropping towards the bottom I can see sponsors like Holman seeking explanations from the WAFC as well.

I think there is a reduction after 3 completed seasons.

once again only looking at this from a Subi point of view.
maybe you should give the WAFC some advice on how to market a competition to sponsors, existing supporters and hopefully new supporters a competition that has become farcical.
Subi will end up playing themselves if nothing is done.

Why would Subi’s sponsors ask the WAFC for an explanation on why they put measures in place to create a more even competition? Subi is responsible to meet the terms of their sponsorship arrangements not the WAFC. Ie logos of jumpers and merch, ground signage, website etc.

A more even competition may even see Subis sponsors get more exposure with more people willing to watch televised games or attend in person if they think their side may be competitive or even beat Subi.

That is correct - our club got sick of one club in particular preying on anything returning to WA so wanted to set a type of safety net that ensured fair compensation to the club of origin
This proposal which was supported by several other clubs didn't even reach the table

Interesting times. Keen to see if Subi can turn any no name 1 pointers, from the zone, ammos, country or wherever they come from, into guns with their culture and higher training demands etc over the next few years
