Perth have signed Kieran Delahunty from NT Thunder. Was keen to join his cousin Lachlan at Subiaco, but their new recruiting restrictions ruled that out.

yep...either rightly or wrongly these rules are starting to bite LD with Kieran Delahunty and Zac Clarke prohibited from joining Subi. I still think there might be scope to challenge these rules under restraint of trade legislation or similar. No doubt the club would be considering all options given the introduction of these restrictions against one club is unheard of in any competition anywhere in the world as far as I know.

Thanks DF...there's not a whole lot I can do about it but I can still comment if I so wish.

Subi supporters should be happy they got away with it for so long not complaining the rules have been changed but i suppose that is their sense of entitlement coming through.
if you cant see the real reason the rules have been changed then you must be living in la-la land..

I can see why they were changed MO and don't have a problem with the WAFC implementing equalisation measures but I believe they should be structural changes that apply to everyone and bring about long term reform not just knee jerk one off's that target one club.
