FACT is Fremantle has been earmarked for a long term up graded survival and is National Trust listed it will be there Long Term ,,EF Oval is the exact opposite it has no such status. Went up into the Claremont Stand last night . just to double check your theory, no idea what your on about, I went to the General Standing area under the roof ( near board room windows which was totally dry even after heavy rain and light drizzle that evening and provides vastly superior viewing than the can bar at Basso...

Well congratulations Bazza you have established that one won't get sunburnt at night. We were discussing whether one would get wet sitting in the seats; I will continue to believe my observations and those of other Swans' and Claremont supporters who have observed the same phenomenon that one gets wet when sitting in the seats and it is raining.

Like any other ground, there are some seats at Claremont that you may get some rain depending on which way it's coming in from.

Plenty of seats at the new Optus Stadium cop rain too.

Sit in the wrong seats in the stands at Basso you'll get wet too and the can bar offers how much shelter?

No idea what you are going on about the top three rows and standing area near the board room is totally weather proof..unlike the can bar at Basso where you get your wallet pinched as well as wet.

My understanding is that a business case is being prepared for the refurbishment of the clubrooms independantly from the residential stuff which I think has stalled because of community concerns and the withdrawal of Landcorp from the project.
