Falcon. I'd be very surprised if the club folded. The club may go through a bit of a tough period. Apparently the new facilities should be attracting an income soon. All those new facilities were not constructed for nothing. Was n't it stated before on another topic old Mchenry saying West Perth would not fold. Apparently player and staff payments are guaranteed. No doubt there may be cutbacks etc happening but I think the club will be ok.

Agree with Bazza, if its bad then WP will have little wiggle room with the WAFC's demands. and like EP they may have to stomach 5 years worth of alignment to get back on track.

Just a question, does WP's constitution state that any major change (e.g alignment with an AFL club) needs to be voted on by members?. That notice looks a bit ominous to me. Will be interesting to find out what is presented to members so would appreciate any Oz footy WP members who are going to let us know on Friday.

Have entered voluntary administration with debts totalling around $600K according to Basil Zempilas on Channel 7 tonight.

Not good at all like any business, the administrators will now need to look at what can be done to keep the club going, if the issues can’t b resolved the club could b wound up

East Perth has copped a lot of flack over going into the alignment for 5 (actually6) years to get itself back into a strong financial position.I was at the meeting when Bronte highlighted our financial problems.He was always of the view that somebody would fold or have to merge because even then some clubs were on the financial edge.As much as I have hated the alignment.i would hate to be in West Perth's position.
