Also, the alignment model hasn't been a total disaster for Peel or EP either....how many flags did Peel win prior and how much $ did EP have in the bank before the arrangement?

BC Peel have won zero or are you now suggesting that Peel won the flags in the past two years.

Grump et al would suggest otherwise that it has been a success for East Perth.

Freo have not won a GF during the host club alignment. Zero for the Eagles as well.

Last time I looked at the records it said Peel won the last 2....the same records that show prior to the alignment they won SFA at league level....granted it was Freo in disguise which is exactly my point. EP played in the 2014 GF and started red hot favourites only to go down to Subi in atrocious conditions....so not completely bereft of success since the alignment kicked off either.

How do you measure success in this situation, Premierships, none, playing finals couple, financial security yep got that but mainly due to AHG and a CEO that stopped the outflow of unnecessary money. The alignment saved the club money in the first year but then WCE stopped paying for a whole lot of stuff, took control in a despotic manner. Financially yep we are better off no question but the damage to the club will take a long time to repair.

I don't and won't accept that. If it comes to pass that the WAFC is gutless and doesn't care about the WAFL them I may well walk away from footy completely. I see ABSOLUTELY NO REASON why the parasites that is the AFL should destroy the WAFL without STRIDENT OPPOSITION. My stance has been consistent throughout and I have no intentions of changing that stance just because it would be convenient to you, BH, Bazza et al.

I support the WAFL; again it would appear a lot of posters on here only pay lip service and actually strongly support the parasites that is the AFL.

What exactly do you mean by me changing stance?

I haven't change stance at all.

My stance has been from the outset that , although Im opposed to the alignment and the 2nd team, Im also aware of the power structures at play, I said last time the alignment would happen, you said it would not if the wafl clubs opposed it , guess what , it happened. because the wafl clubs don't have the power to stop it. like in most thing s in life - follow the money and you'll find answer.

your stance is one of complete denial and despite continually losing on these issues,

As pretty much everyone else on here accepts bar you , the previous arrangement is not returning.

Has anyone told 42 that WCE and Freo are the arbiters for where their players play in the WAFL, not him?....He seems a bit slow on the uptake here...what can we do to help him?

It's like talking to a brick wall.Once their drafted and they give your club the money they are no longer yours. So long as both clubs contribute to the wafl financially that's all that matters..

Perhaps he won't accept any help, as he doesn't and he won't.

What I can see is that you and your ilk don't give a stuff about the WAFL. That you specifically freezin are as insincere as i comes about the WAFL. So be it.

42.....I have no doubt you are truly concerned for the mental well being for every ex SD player on WCE or Freo's list for them not being able to play in the WAFL against their beloved SDFC.....though I guess a 6 figured pay packet lessens the grief some what for these unfortunate fellas....thank fudge WCE and Freo can lessen their plight some what.....
