Think freezin didn't read the interview Swan42 going by his comments.
Results not important apparently, all about development and getting kids drafted.

Sadly the paperboy has been a bit slow delivering 42....cant find any said interview online ....thus are we talking Harding or Suma's agenda?....because if its Suma's agenda, wouldn't be the same as the winning and title defending Vic Metro's coach agenda?....development and drafting?....not to sure what Hardings agenda would be bar keeping you SD posters happy and contented....or is it fuming and frustrated?

Freezin please adhere to your OWN ADVICE and stay on topic. I believe the title of this topic is WA State18s-2017. If you wish to make a positive contribution to the debate of,it would appear your favourite WAFL club, Swans could you please do say on the Swans' board?

cheers for the advice 42.....so is it correct to say Suma, the WA state 18's - 2017 coach is a keen supporter of the TAC model?.....if he is, then considering the Vic Metro and Vic country sides seem to win majority of state champs and get more boys drafted, whilst WA struggles.....isn't that a good thing he wishes to change WA development strategies?.....I for one don't like to see WA state youngsters getting spanked by the Vic youngsters year in year out?....and WA boys over looked in preference for Victorian boys for higher honours.......

Danger.... I am pretty sure the Vic youngsters are still winning TAC games and State U/18 games following this model of "development and drafting" only......not too sure what you mean about 'forget about winning'?.....didn't Vic Metro beat WA comfortably on the weekend?.....42 can you you clarify this for me...as you seem to have strong concerns against the TAC model..totally confused TBH......Vic metro won using a player only model, where winning isn't the focus only individual development......yet they won again and look likely to win the champs again.

we should look at the positives of this though as the player first mentality in Victoria as opposed to team first helped the WAFL smash the VFL this year.

Too true MO but a few mates of mine in Melbourne said that VFL team was ordinary and a lot of top guys pulled out for a variety of reasons..but hey not WA fault......time will tell I guess....interesting tho majority of ex VFL guys who come over like Hockey,Kitchen DelaHunty Boland Cook etc all dominate the WAFL....Cockie did well going the other way from memory...

they pulled out as their clubs pulled rank and wouldnt let guys play, they didnt even get a team shirt to wear to the game or the function afterwards and as a result its likely to be the end of state footy for the VFL.
