J.O.N Resigned pre-season, was this due to ego bruising being relegated to the Reserves with the Alignment speed bumping his path to the seniors
He returned - who convinced him I don't know (maybe the exit wasn't big enough for him?)
well lookie now J.O.N .... out with a BANG
His path has once again been speed-bumped (as stated in this latest media blurb)and low and behold - Racism raises its ugly head 'AGAIN"

J.O.N bleeds his resolve against Racism and I say I see 'Reverse Racism' - I have had the opportunity with my career to spend time with many WAFL players across the clubs and I can offer those interested that J.O.N is/was one of the most daggered verbal abusers on the field. Including racial abuse, personal and family ....
J.O.N made sure the so-called vilification issue of that day made it to where he wanted it guided
May I suggest any take the time to read the journo pieces written over the entire phase of that event and within you will be quickly led to J.O.N's desire for this NOT to be mediated or even though I believe the accused had been done a massive disservice and most likely a false claim, did not en-devour for him to receive any indigenous education etc - in fact "never mentioned" - it was sadly J.O.N's intention to have a LOOK AT ME MOMENT using the race card, and to the absolute disrespect and character assassination to a fellow footballer and human being (remove the colour).

I do not even for a moment think or state that racist remarks are not made on the field, socially, workplace or elsewhere, I do not for any stretch of the imagination think the effect of this hasn't huge detrimental effects to those its directed at, personally, family and socially - I am though stating as observed and personally experienced fact there are those that are playing a game here, there are those of a lighter skin shade that are abused and vilified also, but little made of it..

Regards J.O.N, I for one never saw the player he apparently was, but rather the player and individual he became, a benevolent mentor I certainly did not see, rather a frustrated shadow of player searching for reason and relevance.

Bazz I am sure our honcho's from the WAFC are all over the issue and have a report to justify their action or inactions.
The experience obviously meant enough to him to mention it in his last interview. Well done to JOH on a good career. At his best he was very difficult to nullify for oppo teams.

While on the topic of PR for the WAFL, Townsend has written 2 articles on EF recently that were laced with negativity. I'm not sure what purpose those articles served. In reality he was sticking the boots in while the club is down. The WAFL doesn't need clubs lists put under microscopes and slammed. I personally have never seen those types of articles about WAFL teams before and don't want to see them in the future either

What one needs is an in-depth expose of the inner workings of the WAFC. Perhaps the first issue to be discussed should be how much the WAFC spent on the ALWAYS doomed attempt to get the new stadium management rights.

Clownsend writes a lot of shit and has a history of it, including today where he wrote Ricky Cary "kneed" Kody Manning in the buttocks last Sat. Now he never stated if it were an accident, provoked, deliberate? He just lets it hang out there, probably fed this allegation from someone at West Perth without evidence to back it up.

And which management company got paid for the work? Didnt Gav work in a property management company at some point?
