I was wondering if it possible to get some of you guys to cast and publish your best 8 (Max) players in order from your own club each week. I want to try and get a player of the year thread running using 33% media, 33% club and 33% supporters.

I'll see how it goes and will publish the combined tally each sunday evening by 7pm.

Just drop the round 1 votes on this thread if you wish to contribute

I might even put $10 dollars in a jar each week and build it up to 250 by season's end to make it a worthwhile award like the good old days of WAFL

Good idea we could have a rep from each clubs forum present an ozfooty award I'm sure we all have contacts within clubs to organise this, but good idea never the less

Well, I'll put $10 in a jar each week and build it up to 250. If anybody else wants to put $2 away each week, we can all meet after round 23 for a beer put all our money together and see how much we've got....might be a bloody good amount

And with the supporters votes, I'll go with the first bloke who hands them in if anybody does.

If nobody does from any club in a round, I'll come up with a third 8 to 1 combining the media/club votes. Hopefully that won't happen often....although peel might be a challenge

Doesn't look like I'll be getting any supporters votes from Peel.

No arguments from me on those votes, I'd maybe have Phez at 5 and Ryan at 4.
