This gonna take quite some effort from you La Hincha for which I can only applaud you. Great idea the 33% . Clubs often reward players with higher votes for confidence or welcome reasons whilst the media tend to play faves with the bigger names getting preference (ie ex AFL or dropped AFL players giving them a bump start) when it comes to the making a call on order of the best so incorporating 'the best critics' vote from us here on the Ozfooty site is a great way to keep some balance in play over the year. Hopefully someone from EP & Peel can provide an honest weekly appraisal.

I won't be providing voting personally here, I'll leave that to other SD ozfooty site members as I have my fingers in a few other pies this year but what I will do is match your $250 if you decide to go ahead with an Ozfooty award. (Hope admin is ok with us doing something like this on the site's behalf) Good job with this one mate...look forward to seeing it unfold

Mate, thats very generous but please no need...$46 is as much as anyone should put in, then we all meet at the pub of our choice after round 23....maybe the winner can meet us there also...we'll see

This award reminds me a bit like the old Sheraton Hotel WAFL Footballer Of The Year in the Footy Budget back in the day based on a consensus of the media outlets of the time.
