why does a thread on this site need to be worthwhile other than for entertainment value? does everything need to be Pulitzer Prize material or can we just have a bit of fun? Was the topic and postings of "Wooden Spooners 2016" so hurtful it needed to be deleted and the author banned because if it was then you Oz Admin need to get a life because clearly you don't operate in the real world. if you're applying the same standards as those which had outer banned then you also should do likewise to posters who suggest that Subi are in breach of the salary cap under the table as that stuff is punishable by law. Oz Admin apply your lofty standards to everyone including the bogans.

Some one still lives in a bat cave if they reckon that wooden spoon thread would be acceptable in any other footy forum, I will repeat again for the ignorant what makes this site so special or different from any other.

It was not the title of the topic itself BC, it was the tone and intent of it. Not good banter at all, just distasteful and disrespectful. If there was some good natured humour behind it most of us recognise it and it might have stayed. You are clearly upset because it's one of your own. I don't intend to have to explain myself over and over.

BC the great OZ has spoken mate, the pressure imposed on him by the selected protected few has become too great it seems........be content my brethren brother knowing that when the jibes are flowing thick n fast like $alarico, $ubi, Pillow biters, gummies, Twuckies etc, we have the SOH to laugh it off for what it is, plain ole banter irrespective of its premeditated tone and intent.....obviously with wooden spooners being two words,it seems to take the tone and intent to a more inflammatory level......for the selected n protected few I guess......but hey as PN says this site should be no different to any of the others......so lets embrace that......and like the WAFL conform to the needs of the chosen few.....

hopefully Outer will comeback a wiser and reformed character.....I mean a conformed character

TBH MO I think I shed more tears hearing all those excuses for SD finishing 9th this year mate....actually cried my self to sleep most weekends...18 out 20 to be exact.......but hey it will only strengthen the resolve I guess

As someone else stated there is a complete lack of consistency...

OZ admin as BC and others have stated, posters on here have used offensive language called other posters abusive names and even threatened physical violence yet seem to act with impunity...some can drift into the SFFC thread when they like have a crack about a topic (I have no issue with this) that has nothing to do with them yet try to do the same on the swans thread and its a tonne of bricks on the offender.

Just on this thread alone a certain "moderator" as likened me to a terminal disease,then gone on to make completely false and unsubstantiated slanderous allegations about me and the failure of a former website, for starters I would like to lodge a complaint about that post and expect some action.

The way Fremantle board is moderated is completely over the top , absolute evidence of this is the fact that a poster ( NOT ME ) was forced to post a dockers related to topic in the general news section , just so as to get some oxygen from the oppressive highly censored Fremantle thread, of course instant panic of loss of control by the moderator soon chimed in. That should of rung alarm bells of blatant over moderation.

Having grown up in Freo and had Derby like banter and ribbing from day dot between two clubs , you can see both SF and EF seem to be able to handle a bit of a stir, Subi put up with crap for years so have built up some metal as well. EP and WP actually throw wooden spoons at each other..

Are we getting to the point that 18c will be invoked to control "offence" for footy banter????
