Now now let's not be mean to each other, how about I lighten the mood with a joke.
What do Swan Districts and Sun Yang have in common?

Funnily enough Mike just to show how little WAFL knowledge the guy concerned has with the example I forwarded only last season as we ALL KNOW went down to the last kick by Claremont's Murphy that tipped them in and us out of the 5, it doesnt get any more down to the wire then that I would have thought?
How ironic that bitter & twisted couldnt remember only less than a year ago with his own mob already sucking on sour graped flavoured mothballs at the time! :)

For your benefit I accept that Swans have had a shocking season. Notwithstanding the above by what metric can you say that it has been a good year for the WAFL? How many games this year have there been fewer than 1,000 in attendance even using the official figures?

How uneven is the WAFL competition due to the following:

(i) Subiaco's financial dominance; and
(ii) the inequity of the host club alignment.

The first doesn't need to be expanded upon; even the great BC acknowledges the problems associated with same. The second is best illustrated by the Swans Peel game where Peel had a minimum number of AFL aligned players and got soundly thrashed by Swans.

At the beginning of the 2016 season everyone would have said that three of the positions would be filled by Subiaco, "East Perth" and "Peel". At the start of 2017 the answer to the same question will be the same.

Also, to address Bazza's "love child" Channel 7's broadcast of the WAFL. What do we, the WAFL competition, clubs, players, members and supporters get for the million dollars that we are required to pay for the broadcast?
  1. not all rounds broadcast;
  2. irregular and bizarre times based on the whim of Channel 7
  3. poor commentary with the focus on who has, who is, or who will play in the AFL;
  4. loss of an individual's club sponsor;
  5. state game not broadcast;
  6. uneven coverage of teams broadcast

Has the supposed increased in ratings of the WAFL telecast been translated into greater attendances at the ACTUAL GAMES? Categorically, unequivocally, indisputably and unambiguously NO there has not been an increase; in fact there has been a drastic drop in attendances.

Looking forward to taking you blokes on this weekend...lol

Clearly the "metric" is the closeness of the finals race. But its more than obvious that the constant moaning on here primarily by SDFC clowns is directly condign with there own clubs piss poor performance and desperately boringly trying to find every excuse in the book to deflect from that fact. umpires, ch 7, weather, alignment, stretchers, groundsman you name it .btw, I notice that despite the Dockers shafting the wafl you seem to jump to their defence still swan42 , despite a disgraceful record in treatment of wafl unlike everything else they are clearly quarantined for some reason only known to you and are not part of your anti wafl conspiracy narrative.

As you know I've never supported the alignment, nor the on going deal Subi had for dough from Subi oval. However that doesn't mean other clubs chuck the towel in.

I've discussed at length on another thread the issues you raise re the TV coverage, go find it.

Bazza the only person on here who seems to be (in your own words) "spewing puss" is yourself. Not surprising you got banned for a month if you carry on like that.

No disrespect to Perth as they are only a vague technical chance of making the finals but the best thing would be for EF to win this weekend, and Subi to beat Wart by 100+ points, that will see Wart out of the 5 but seems at least one of the alignments will make it in, hopefully EF can finish 4th get the home final and then spank which ever alignment they face.
