westaussieguy wrote: The 5th spot on the league ladder is going to be a tussle. East Fremantle's next match is an Away game at Lathlain against Perth. Then 2 Home games to follow, the first against Claremont and the final qualifying match against the alignment. Both Perth and EF are currently fairly evenly matched and if East Freo wish to play Finals, they'll need to win against Perth to kick-start their Finals aspirations. The following week, they are no certainties to beat Claremont either. East Fremantle currently have an efficiency rating of 102, whilst Claremont sit around 117. And Claremont averages 14 goals when playing away whilst The Sharks average 11 at Home. They'd fancy their chances in the final qualifying match to bowl the alignment over. To win all their remaining matches would be the best scenario, because the alignments will not win all their remaining matches. If East Freo can sneak into the top part of the ladder, we'll have 4 Wafl clubs in the Finals series.
It's far too late for Perth as they've had 3 consecutive losses after the bye. East Fremantle's remaining qualifying matches are going to be most interesting.

Yeah this week's Round 21 fixtures will go a long long way in determining things by the look , Claremont are still in with a mathematical chance of making the finals but If the EP alignment gets a single point from here on it's all over for the Tiges
EF just have to win all their matches in reality but 10 wins might get a finals ticket across the line this year , and mathematically there is also still an outside chance WP could be in the shitmixer if they drop their remaining 2 games starting with the in form Tiges this week
I expect every single available AFL player to be pitchforked at us in the coming weeks

West Perth have the advantage of having used all their Away games up. Their remaining 2 games are at Home. After losing to Subiaco yesterday, they do not want to take Claremont or Swans lightly.

Peels victory yesterday was bad news for the Tigers. Victory by the Sharks over Perth next week will end Claremont's hopes because then East Fremantle will join East Perth on 36 points and they play in the last round.

Old Easts should make the finals. They play Perth, the tigers and EP. It is possible that both EP and peel will not win another game this season. If this happens, one win will get EF over the line.

ep play south and S in their other games.
Peel play S and Cl away.

Usual thinly veiled sour grapes from Sdfc losers , spewing puss because they aren't part of the action , this has been a great even year with a heap of teams in contention for finals.

Spewing puss? poor cat. The word you were thinking of was pus. Fascinating that anyone who dares to disagree with your opinion is immediately labeled as a dinosaur or sour grape merchant. You have a right to your views but others have a right to theirs as well. If you don't want to read alternative points of view maybe you should join a site for sycophants.
