My interpretation of this is that Ross was stating the bleeding obvious and that he wasn't having a crack at the WAFL and "blaming it for Fremantle's woes" as some have put it here.

plenty of issues but the most standout one is player quality. try and write a list of players that if available other AFL clubs would be interested in

sandilands is probably to far along for trade.
Alex Pearce would get some interest on late form.

Show me where in my post did I say that the VFL or any second tier was better than the WAFL.
I asked if you thought the WAFL was better than the AFL.

Anchorman you did say that the Queensland and NSW afl sides reserves get to play against "more hardened bodies" than the wafl clubs. That can be interpreted as better, as you go up levels, from amateurs to reserves to league to afl the bodies get bigger and stronger. I very much doubt the neafl and nswfl leagues compare to the wafl in body size and strength or standard.
