SD two things about the WACA:

(i) is it going to be a 14 a side match?
(ii) this week end, and presumably similarly next year, there is a Sheffield Shield match at the WACA

The ground can be lengthened easily from what I heard, Not sure about how they will juggle both sports but shouldnt be a big deal, I cant wait for the WACA to host footy again I liked it as a venue

SD you won't have a problem if say two home games that would normally be played at Basso are played at the WACA ground instead?

If East Perth move there as is the strong rumour that Michael Thompson mentioned in his spot with Adshead on PR Friday morning then we will get one possibly two games each season there as the away team, which is great! But they wouldn't be SD home games of course and I wouldn't want to lose a Basso game to the WACA.
Back in the 80`s the WAFL used to play neutral games at Subiaco so it wouldn't be anything unusual as far as past history goes

There was plenty of WAFL Discussion, where I was this morning and I certainly can't recall any indication from my East Perth Friend(yes, such a thing is possible)about a future for East Perth at the WACA.All the discussion there was on why the 2 Clubs got out.And he doesn't miss much believe me.

To be quite blunt, what possible incentive could there be of playing Games at the WACA,when you get complete Stuff All out of the deal?

That was the 90`s Grassy!! How do you know what the deal will be at the WACA in future seasons? Have they released any details yet? Apart from the 100m sale of Subi oval land and a sharing of the WACA by cricket and WAFL footy - makes perfect sense to me, as sad as it is to leave Subi oval and its rich footy history. With the new stadium to be just across the river and all the precinct that will be developed It is a step into the future for footy and cricket HQ to share the WACA..Subiaco is dead - just like the town of Subi
