Really interesting comments on this topic.Have also listened to Kim Hagdawn and his love affair with the Dockers. And his contempt for the WAFL competition of today. His constant bagging of Perth and his happyness of Swans getting no consession for Ryan Crowley.
However one thing that Hagges saids that need to be listened to is the future arrangments on the new stadium. The AFL rent going back to the Stadium Managment and not the WAFL.KH said the WAFL clubs get 800 k of the comission most of that is the rent from Subi.Is this new Stadium going to be a disaster for WA Footy. The last State Election the ALP wanted to rebuild Subi oval, that now looks like the better option for footy to stay on its own.

Just out of curiosity I decided to have a listen to this as other posters have commented on it. Being used to listening ABC Sports talk I got a bit of a shock as to how inane it is. Very little serious debate, just arguing the toss. A couple of opinionated prats blowing it out of various orifices. If I want a more sensible discussion on sport I will go to the pub in future.

Very well said mikeh.
What continues to amaze me, is people tune into and listen to the rubbish.

With respect to the Hackdorn I happened to be listening to radio redneck (6PR) on Friday morning when the Hackdorn mentioned a rumour that S Malaxos would be joining Swans. I suppose that one should be grateful that the Hackdorn was ALMOST RIGHT. Of course, one could hardly classed it as a rumour given that he WAS at Swans' training the day before and that it was announced at the AGM that S Malaxos had been employed as one of our assistant coaches.

If Hackdorn said the sky was blue I would want to go outside and check for myself.

Swan42 K Hagdorn was on the radio with Brad Hardie tonight. He is very concerned about the WAFC losing managment rights for the new stadium to some Sydney company.Figures he quoted was 15 million currently recieved by the Eagles and Dockers playing at $UBI.KH is not just worried about the WAFL but junior football.
If the new Stadium doesnt work out for our AFL sides we should just stay at $ubi.

So the bottom line is , the WAFC after nearly 30 years of getting a free ride on the back of tax payers, and the footy going public are going to have to get out there are earn their keep, George Griller called this years ago, WAFC had a captured audience is a ground they got gifted for sfa rent by the tax payers after the Burke gov bailed out the WAFL and eagles when Indian Pacific and the WAFL went arse up...they claim they pump 15 million into community footy each year, thats interesting, the WCE have millions in the bank and the dockers are pretty finacial as well , these wanker ceo s are goner have to earn their keep now , the free ride is o v e r.
